Attention deficit disorder is said to be a disorder, primarily of hyperactivity, at least among children, also called ADHD, short for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which simply translates to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. We should not confuse a child who is a little restless with one who has this disorder.

This behavioral disorder, as specialists have called it, is extremely common in children, although it can also occur in adults, the causes are different from one case to another, at least in terms of its manifestation in adults. being children with ADHD reached adulthood.

Although among children, the signs of this behavioral disorder appear since the years when the little one is in kindergarten, the culmination is outlined only in school years, after the age of 7 when the child's problems begin to be quite obvious to adults around him. , especially for parents and educators who have insufficient communication.

However, the onset is recorded at the age of 7 when the child should take the first steps in his social life, communicate with some ease, and begin to perceive the dangers to be avoided by him. The diagnosis, we know well, is not necessarily made by a specialist, but rather by an educator or teacher. The parents are informed about the child's situation, and the only thing they have to do is try to understand this situation and, at the same time, help their child.

Unfortunately, parents with a traditional mindset avoid talking about their children's attention deficit or even do not believe in such a diagnosis, although the signs are quite clear to all. Moreover, even colleagues will notice that something is wrong with a certain child or with several of their classmates. Of course, children with attention-deficit should not be removed from the group, marginalized, but on the contrary, they should be helped to integrate and, at the same time, to heal.

This is not a cure in the true sense of the word, but a return to normal parameters, especially since the signs of such a condition are reflected in behavior and not necessarily in the clinical health of the child.

The situation is worsening for children, as they may show signs of hyperactivity and attention deficit in their lives as adolescents and adults, respectively, all the more so as the resulting problems will, of course, be more intense and difficult. mastered.

Many studies have shown that those children who have a deficit of attention, although they will get very good results even in college, will always be linked to this condition, they make superhuman efforts to hide this behavioral disorder. It is the fault of the parents, but also of the teachers and other teachers, whether we are referring to teachers or educators.

That is why these children need help, as the causes of attention deficit are still unknown. There was a neurological problem in the brain. On the other hand, psychologists believe that ADHD has its causes in the absence of self-discipline that should have been instilled by an adequate education by both parents and the educator, or by other adults around the child. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. suffered.

Treatment by psychiatrists is done with various drugs, and, as we imagine, some side effects are quite serious, giving addiction in turn. There is also controversy in this case that parents accuse a large number of psychiatrists of destroying their children's future by recommending drugs that, to solve a single problem, cause others, which is not at all desirable by anyone. .

Not to mention that addiction is again a problem that involves the whole family, because the drugs are expensive, plus they can endanger the child's future.

Many parents think about the future of their children, especially since their social life after the age of 7 is not exactly the right one, and the school results are not the same. Finally, psychologists instruct parents to do therapy with their children, or just with their little ones, depending on how serious the situation is.

The self-healing of the attention deficit also depends on the seriousness of the situation, but also on the behavior of the family and others around them. The child will not be able to do anything under normal conditions, nor will he learn a lesson, nor will he be able to sit still when he has to. In other words, the attention deficit is manifested by these behavioral disorders that will endanger both social and professional life and personal life.

But, as I said above, it can heal on its own, if the family's help can bring the situation back to normal. For example, the child will not be discouraged, but on the contrary, will be encouraged to trust his strength and will try to correct these behavioral problems.

And not anyway, but in the best possible conditions, the child being, at the same time, encouraged. Attention deficit should not exclude the child from any environment, especially from the family, in which there must be support and understanding alike.
