Preserving and promoting the art of Muay Chaiya and Daab Chao Ram
ThaiAchira - Krabi Krabong Muay Boran was founded on August 1, 2010, by Lamp Sakkapoom and a group of dedicated Muay Chaiya enthusiasts. The organization focuses on teaching and promoting traditional Thai martial arts, particularly Muay Chaiya and Krabi Krabong, while contributing to charitable efforts that benefit underprivileged youth in rural areas of Thailand. Lamp Sakkapoom, better known as "Kru Lamp," currently serves as its president, overseeing both training activities and outreach programs.

Promoting Traditional Martial Arts Worldwide
ThaiAchira is renowned for its unique approach to martial arts training. The group integrates traditional dance elements into practice routines and emphasizes powerful close-range strikes with knees and elbows. The Daab Chao Ram system of Krabi Krabong taught by the group highlights a distinctive low stance and powerful explosive footwork derived from Muay Chaiya’s "Suea Lak Hang" stance, along with delivering precise, forceful strikes.
The group's reputation extends far beyond Thailand, having conducted seminars in countries such as the United States, China, Germany, Russia, and Austria to name a few. Their teaching has attracted students from various backgrounds, all eager to learn the techniques and philosophy behind these ancient arts.
