married
The most important four words for a successful marriage: 'I'll do the dishes.'
Men!
Do you ever sit back and think to yourself as a female, how do men survive without females? How the universe made the male gene so...well lets say unbelievably not functional without a female around. I say this because we females know that without a female in a males life, it makes it impossible for them to survive on their own. Think about it, without use around, they would not be able to find anything, think for themselves, do their laundry, cook a nice meal, etc.

2 Year Marriage
Me and my husband have been married for two years and been together for four years. Before we got married we did marriage counseling and everything seemed like we were going to be a perfect match together. Everything was so good when we were dating and even better when we got engaged. But when we said I DO it was the happiest day of our life. So our first year things started to become a problem like parenting. I came into the marriage with 4 children 3 of them older then his son and one was younger. So we had to do some compromising. My husband and his only son had a selfish side to them because it has been the two of them for a long time. Most people were shocked we were even getting married because they said he seemed like he was not the marrying type. But another thing we had a problem with in our marriage was controlling problems. He wanted our family to follow his every step and what he say about everything we do. But eventually we had a conversation and now we are better because he had to learn that my opinion matters as well and in order to make our marriage work.

Marriage is more than a Wedding
There are different approaches to marriage. There are the people that feel you need to date for a specified length of time, followed by a long engagement, then have a big splash of a wedding. Another segment believe that time is irrelevant to love and a brief acquaintance is enough before a wedding as long as it feels right. My personal belief is that either method can be successful depending on the approach of the two people making the marriage commitment.

Tattoos. Top Story - September 2020.
Do you remember in elementary school, the temporary tattoos? I loved them, love them still. Cute little splashes of color used as a time filler at parties. The kids love them because they can have that little artistic expression, moms don't freak out because a bath and some scrubbing will remove all traces of that flamingo in no time. Unlike when your toddler finds red lip stick and tags everything, including their face and your new couch.

Dear, Mr. Mine,
I don’t think people understand parenthood or partnership the way that it’s actually meant to be. You’re given guidelines of love and manuals on how to be the perfect parent- but, in actuality, how do these things come about on realistic situations? I guarantee, I promise you, reading between the lines is the best lesson of everything. find your own rhythm- your own balance, share it amongst others but appreciate the differences in everyone, and every thing. We're all trying to be the best lesson we can be, and I really think, that’s the most important lesson of them all.
