grief
Losing a family member is one of the most traumatic life events; Families must support one another to endure the five stages of grief and get through it together.
A Mother's Love
I had just flown in that morning from Washington. ~ My mother’s recovery at the nursing home was slow, but it was still progressing and her health was improving. I felt that the trip I’d planned almost a year ago to see a friend would be ok. Mom was ok with it; my brother and aunt would be able to visit each day. I was at a northeastern tribal art exhibit in Vancouver with my friend John when I got the call.

The Long Goodbye
The light bar on the police car parked in front of our house was still flashing, as I pulled up in my airport rental car wondering what on earth had happened now. Leaving my luggage and rushing inside, I found two police officers taking a statement from my disheveled mother. One gently took me aside to fill me in.

Willow Creek
Willow Creek End of a beginning It was a late Sunday afternoon in Willow Creek, Fall was upon the little town, as all the leaves was falling off the trees and winter slowly creeping closer. Down the street of Dragonfly Dr lived the Dawson family. Down the main hall in the house where they lived was a 10-year-old boy named Dylan sitting in the hallway near his mother’s room. They told him to wait in there while the doctor was busy inside the main room of the house where his mother Rose was laying sick on the bed. She has been diagnosed with late-stage leukemia a few months ago and ever since they found out she had leukemia it was hard on their family. Rose was everything to Dylan, she was the kindest loving mother and she always loved to bake cookies for Dylan school. She always told Dylan to follow his dreams and that he must believe in himself. “Dylan “The house butler called to him softly, Dylan looked up and wiped the tears of his cold soar cheeks, Victor joins him on the couch, “Is my mommy going to be okay Dylan asked to Victor, Victor left a heavy sigh and looked down to him, he could see the boy was terrified and his eyes were flowing with tears. “I don’t know, “said Victor.

Today, Deepti was in a restless mood at the shop throughout the day. There was turmoil in the mind. That's why she remained restless the whole day. Bela next to her also interrupted her two-three times, “What's the matter Deepti? Why are you looking so sad today?”

Speak Up
Things start getting real when you start setting boundaries and owning your truth. However, you lose everyone who is not for your highest good. Now that's a hard lesson to learn because the people you thought were supposed to be in your life the people who said they loved you or they got you, hid or left you alone to drown in your pain unbeknownst to them because you hold everything inside until you finally can't take it anymore, then you explode....learning how to react differently than what you normally do is a challenge and you must stay calm to pass that test.
