Startup Founders are much like your family members
What made me a founder? I didn't go to business school, I'm not exactly living in an ideal situation for building a business right now. As a matter of fact, let me describe to you what's going on at this very moment.

Being a Single Dad
So I have been a single dad for about 2 years now and let me tell you, it has not been easy. Now when I say that I have been a single dad, I mean that I get my kids every two weeks and the when they are not with me, they are with their mother, But no matter how much you have your kids in my opinion, you are still a single dad. You still have to worry about the well being of your kids, you still have to feed them and bathe them and make sure that they are taken care of. So no matter what, I am a single dad! That being said, I am a single dad to a 13 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. Now my son is easy to handle, all I have to do is make sure that minecraft is on my phone or playstation, or make sure that I have the latest farming game on my phone. (he usually lives on a farm with his mother and her parents.)

Fun Activities to Do With Your Kids in Quarantine
Hello to all the parents out there that are singing the quarantine blues right now. Some parents are currently trying to juggle working from home and being teachers at the same time and it can be very stressful. Especially for new parents or parents with multiple kids. I definitely understand, so I created this list to try and ease that stress. These are also tips that helped me survive in quarantine. I hope it helps.

Children and Discipline;
I honestly must say the subject I am touching on right now is just my opinion. It is based on my life experience and on direct observation of other functioning and nonfunctioning families. I do not condone violence toward children and neither do I find it healthy to have a child who grows up out of control. As a mother of a 15-year-old and a care giver raising 2 toddlers I have to say My view has evolved as I have matured. It is not my intent to cause discourse or say what is right or wrong, my intent is only to make you think about why people spank, and whether it’s appropriate.

Let the kids create
Kids being home for this long is never on any parents list- we all want to stay occupied! Have them learn and have things to do for ourselves- until this happens! And we realize how crazy it is to come out of our comfort zone and do something new...like stay home without our own will. It’s boring...it’s tiring....it’s frustrating...

The Z restaurant
I am a stay at home mommy with a busy hubby. My kids are 7, 4 and 2 years olds. Hubby works a full week at the office. Work from home perks are long gone. So I am home with the kids almost all day. It’s not easy, distance learning and then homework, Arabic classes, music class, online programs for school, and then the two toddlers. It’s not easy...yes I repeat it’s tough.

Child Bullies
Many of us know all to well what it is like to be bullied at one point or another in our lives. If you have not ever had this experience, take a deep breath and thank your stars. I, like many, have felt the emotional pain that comes with being bullied and as a parent, I believe it what gives me the passion to teach my children exactly why this is and never will be tolerated. There is however, one question I had then and have carried with me throughout my life. What creates a child bully?

Afraid of the Dark
Katie woke up to find the world had gone dark. The inky blackness hugged the floors, the walls, and smothered the windows. Darkness, like motor oil, filled the room to where Katie huddled at the head of her bed. It was as if all the light had fallen into a hole. Katie didn’t dare move. She was afraid she would fall into that hole too. Little Jimmy Smith had told her all about the hole that sucked in all the light.

On behalf of my son
My son is now ten years old. He has written this and asked me to share it with the world. He is an amazing, brave child who wants to share knowledge, experiences and feelings in the hopes that they might help others. The following words are his.
