The Valiant Cry of an Aborted Baby
“I can see the wonderful stars which shine bright at night, which suggests that however dark the night may be there, are always meant to combat such darkness. The morning dew on the grass blades, signifying the presence of support to hold on in every excruciating pain, no matter how hard the pain may be but with the support it can be endured. The soothing breeze which passes through showcases the limitless boundaries which persist for me to grow and achieve in my life. I stumble upon the running waterfall and saw that it breaks down the mountains but never ceases its cause, teaches me to have the grit to solve any major perplexities in my life. I woke up in the morning and I heard the chirping birds, which imparts a tranquil and pleasant environment around me. I saw the rising sun which imparts a ray of new hope every day and which suggests to me that however difficult the night may be there is always a new day waiting for a new beginning.”

The Lost Monkey
Something was troubling (children's version), tormenting (adult version) Jeni. It was the nightmares she had for a full month. And the shadows she could only see on the walls. Jeni had her mom Karole, who said a prayer for her and told her to go back to bed.

Rich's Christmas
Rich’s Christmas Letter Ten years ago I invited several friends to write about an early Christmas event. There were fewer interested parties than I had envisioned, so the project I had in mind fell apart. However, My friend Rich was one of the responders and I have kept it in my files. Christmas 2021 is quick upon us, and since Rich is now a victim of Parkinson’s disease and can’t do this for himself, I am posting it on vocal.media so that it may be shared with his family and friends. His story is in the form of a letter to his children.

First-Time Mothers’ Experiences
Mothers saw a gap between expectations and information because childcare needs were higher than expected and mothers did not have time to breathe. These situations were very similar to those of mothers, although fathers seemed to find it more difficult to seek help and support than mothers.

Love Letters to the Great Unknown
Through your eyes And yet, where I have been You are so small, my love, when you begin. Your importance and potential cause the world to shake, the heavens to open up, and an outpouring of wonder, fear, and worry in seemingly equal measure. You are the product of nature’s most basic, and most complex systems, propagation thanks to oscillation and collision. You are not always planned, but even when you are, the chaos that you bring is a vision of the infinite. The mysteries of the Universe are held in your tiny hands, before you have even drawn your first external breath. I’m in constant awe of you, baby.

From the lips of children
It was a cold, December morning and Mrs Johnson, the Year 2 teacher, switched on the lights in her classroom, rubbed her hands and set down her bags. The heating had not been on for long and the building was old, so she wrapped her coat a little more tightly around her body.
