For Kids, a New Years Resolution is to Be More Well-Behaved
Introduction: It's the new year, and that means a new chance to try and be more well-behaved. This time, you have the opportunity to set some stricter rules for yourself than ever before. It's not as hard as it seems, though, and there are a few things you can do to help make this happen. First and foremost, start by setting goals for yourself. What are some of your top priorities right now? Once you know what you need to focus on in order to improve your behavior, it will be easier to set realistic goals. Secondly, build a good rule-book for yourself. This will give you a guideline by which to measure how well you’re doing so far this year. Finally, find other people who can help teach you how to be more well-behaved. With these three pieces of advice in hand, it’s easy enough to start making progress this year!

My Dad's Terrible Cooking Showed His Love
My mom left us for the man who managed the produce department in our local grocery store when I was 5, but that is another story. As an afterthought, and because her friends told her about child support she got custody of me, after about 5 years of some intense custody battle I won and got to live with my dad. By then my two oldest siblings had moved out and it was just me and my brother who is 5 years older than me and my dad. To say that my dad was a bad cook is being generous.

Darkness of night: Comfort for someone
It's not uncommon for people to find solace or comfort in the darkness of night. For some, the peacefulness and quiet of the night can provide a sense of calm and solitude that can be hard to find during the busyness of the day. For others, the night can be a time for reflection and introspection, a time to process thoughts and emotions and to find clarity.

You'll be me and I'll be you
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. She had never left the orphanage where she had lived since she was a baby. All she knew was the small, dreary rooms and filled to the brim of other children and noise. That was the day that would change her life forever.

The Santa Claus Rally: Is it Too Late?
The Santa Claus Rally: Is it Too Late? The Santa Claus rally is a phenomenon that has been observed for over 50 years in the stock market. The rally typically takes place in the last week of December, and is attributed to the end-of-year buying by partially funded portfolio managers and individual investors, as well as the "window dressing" by fully invested portfolio managers.
