Father Value
Family structures can be connected to the idea of a family tree. The structure is based upon who had breed together to create the family that exists as a whole and tends to continue to grow. Family structures can also be defined by the roles or power each individual has in the lineage. Normally the Grandmother and her husband hold the highest power that gets passed down to their children, eldest to youngest, and they pass it down to their children. I’ve learned hierarchy proves nothing other than age being increased, in my opinion of the black families. Much like other populations, we tend to suffer from single-parent households and poverty. I plan to discuss the findings of Patricia Thomas of Duke University on the effects of father presence in black homes.

I had to begin reading this book written by a great friend of mine. I will not give away any details, so all I can say is home is where the heart is. I was confirmed of three great things when reading this masterpiece, and I am sure you will pick us some great lessons when you read this book as well. Family is everything and your family name is very important, but what's more important is the opportunity you give individuals their own chance to make a name for him or herself no matter the reputation.

I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend and former school librarian, Joane Greene for turning me onto this book. As a child I was an avid reader and wished many times to be in a book, but never really considered it possible. Then one day Mrs. Greene says she ordered a book with my name in the title; I did not believe her, but I was hooked and eagerly awaited its arrival. When it showed up, I had to wipe the egg off my face in order to read my name on the cover.

The trip won’t take long, though I’m sure you’d like to know, how far and wide do dreamers go. We’ll find a guide before we take off; a friend who can help us find what dreams are made of. His name is Dunce and he lives not far from here, in a hole in a tree with quite a sleepy atmosphere. He snoozes and snores his days away, resting up for the travelers that come his way. He shows them the way once they arrive. He takes them to the place where dreams come to life. Every bit of wonder and amaze comes from this place. Any good dream you’ve ever had comes from there in great haste.
