Father Value
Family structures can be connected to the idea of a family tree. The structure is based upon who had breed together to create the family that exists as a whole and tends to continue to grow. Family structures can also be defined by the roles or power each individual has in the lineage. Normally the Grandmother and her husband hold the highest power that gets passed down to their children, eldest to youngest, and they pass it down to their children. I’ve learned hierarchy proves nothing other than age being increased, in my opinion of the black families. Much like other populations, we tend to suffer from single-parent households and poverty. I plan to discuss the findings of Patricia Thomas of Duke University on the effects of father presence in black homes.

Happiness is the soul doing everything it can imagine, respectfully. Have you aligned yourself to your deepest truth of what morals affect your character? I learned to understand that as a human, I cannot possibly operate out of good characters if I am unaware of what character is or when I am hiding my bad ones. Ethics taught me the value in finding the balance not only within myself, but with others through the space that life is aimless and not confined to one meaning. The information about “The Good Life” created space for me to feel more confident in my vision of building an effective life of longevity and luxury. And that is why, I sincerely believe The Good Life is about self-gratification with minor consideration to humanity.

Have you ever considered that Instagram affects your self-esteem or how you view yourself? Do you ever sit and think, why do I like using Instagram? Instagram is a social media that allows the human to make post about their life and share it with the world. You may wonder what the big deal is, well let me tell you. With every post you make, Instagram has a feature that will display how many people like what you post. I personally use Instagram and Facebook in my free time and I find it to be a good pass time. But, I will also admit I feel effected by its absence. It is my plan to share my personal experience of using Instagram and back it up with facts from other sources. Social media is such a great source, but I found it to be a hindrance as well. Let’s explore what others have to say about how Instagram affects self-esteem.

Once upon a time there was a young lady by the name of Princess. She had beautiful full brown hair, and shiny big eyes. She enjoyed wearing colorful dresses that showed her figure, until the day she realized her appearance didn't matter. She had lived so freely in the world, oblivious to the obvious that everyone had their own pain to deal with. Not that she saw herself as superwoman, but she placed great value in helping others feel seen and understood.

“GO TO COLLEGE” they say. “LIVE YOUR LIFE” they suggest. We get there and realize life don’t stop; Miley Cyrus tried to tell us. I’ll second that college is the best time of life, but it’s also the realist. You truly find yourself or lose yourself trying to find yourself. Drugs is another ballgame though, but I won’t stunt like I never tried anything. I plan to share a few statistics from the American Addiction Center about college students and their interactions with drugs.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T
Ethics are moral codes you stand by because you’ve come to a level of understanding the self in relation to others. Ethics are things we share with people sometimes through our actions and other times through our words of affirmation. One could describe their belief system, or root chakra, as their code of ethics. You’d know what one values by what they participate in and what they’re hesitate to speak up about. I find ethics so interesting because it allows one to healthy pick the brain of another creating this butterfly effect of a renewed way to think.
