3 Ways To Get A Better, Stronger Relationship
If you have been in a relationship for more than two years, chances are you have experienced some boring nights, not-so-pretty moments, and perhaps you've even wondered if your partner still finds you interesting or attractive. These challenges become even more prevalent the longer you are married. But, believe it or not, bringing the romance and flare back into your relationship isn't all that hard. The first thing you need to know is that for anything to be exciting, it cannot be complacent. Everyone likes routine, but sometimes we all could use a little bit of a surprise.

How to Survive Being a SAHM
There seems to be an idealized view of what it's like to be a stay at home mom. We wake up for homemade breakfasts of fun shaped pancakes topped with healthy fruit that our children devour with glee. We take picnics at the park with whole wheat bread. We share giggles under blanket forts. Maybe we do a lot of these things, but we also have plenty of work as well. There's a reason daycare is so expensive—kids take a lot of work throughout the day!

Single Parenting
So I noticed on Facebook or any social media site that not very many people will post the bad things that their kids do and only post the good. Well here's a news flash: it is okay to post the bad. Do I discipline my kids? Yeah I do. Do I spank them? Yeah I do. Do I take toys away? Yeah of course. Do I use timeouts? Yeah I do, just to change things up. Granted, I don't like spanking my kids. I don't like doing it one bit, but sometimes a time-out doesn't always work, and neither does taking toys away. So no parent should feel ashamed to only have to post the good.

Who Should Come First? The Marriage or the Kids?
Like most things in the parenting realm, this is a topic that people are very passionate about. I've read and heard a lot of opinions on the topic and it's truly something that interests me. If I'm being honest, I agree with points on both sides of the argument. Since I love hearing about different perspectives and keeping an open mind to others, I figured I'd weigh in on the topic myself.

Life Is a Winding Road
One of the hardest things to go through is change. No matter what it is, leaving the comfort of normal is a scary thing. Even if you’ve gotten a promotion at work, it’s still very scary. Losing a job is scary as hell. Finding the new job is scary as hell. And when you finally find that new job, it’s ridiculously scary. The fear doesn't just come with employment, it comes with life. It comes with meeting someone new that you're interested in, breaking up with someone or even worse, when you lose a family member. Regardless of what change you're going through, what will make or break you is how you deal with the change, how your attitude guides you through.
