Screen Time: Raising Your Children and Finding a Balance
With the age of digitalisation commencing, the world is not the same as it was just a few decades ago. From mobile phones to desktops and game consoles, this generation is presented with an abundance of digital devices to keep them entertained. We quite often hear our older relatives say “back in my day we never had any of this technology stuff”, since raising children now has changed drastically from previous generations.

What I Have Learned in 2020
The first thing I have learned in 2020 is that I am not allowed to cry. I used to cry at the drop of a hat when I was a kid. As an adult it takes a lot to get me to cry. My sister Malissa is the same way. I lost my grandmother on September 30, 2020. I was able to spend some quality time with her before her passing. I had to cry on my brother-in-law’s shoulder since my husband cannot stand to see me cry. I was so grateful to be able to see my grandmother… my husband lost his grandmother May 30, 2020 and was unable to visit her before she passed. I was almost not allowed to see my grandmother before she passed because my husband was not allowed to see his.

That said, there are several things you can empirically do to be a good Father or Parent, chief among them is personal hygiene habits.

BEFORE THE FIRE
September 25st 2010. The time was 8pm having the family celebration success. Enjoying every second of it before a beautiful day turned into tears. The day started with us working up in the morning everyone smiling and getting ready to prepare for this beautiful day our family was about to have. Friends started calling congratulating our family’s success, neighbors bringing us gifts and everything was going according to a plan. My sisters and aunts went to a salon and payed for a expensive wigs, bought new cars, expensive jewelries, nice clothes, while all men went to get fresh hair cuts, nice suits bought new cars and hired the most expensive chef to prepare a meal for us while we go to the clubs and casinos to gamble. It was a fun day.
