September 25st 2010. The time was 8pm having the family celebration success. Enjoying every second of it before a beautiful day turned into tears. The day started with us working up in the morning everyone smiling and getting ready to prepare for this beautiful day our family was about to have. Friends started calling congratulating our family’s success, neighbors bringing us gifts and everything was going according to a plan. My sisters and aunts went to a salon and payed for a expensive wigs, bought new cars, expensive jewelries, nice clothes, while all men went to get fresh hair cuts, nice suits bought new cars and hired the most expensive chef to prepare a meal for us while we go to the clubs and casinos to gamble. It was a fun day.

7pm we drove back to our mansion as it was time for us to start the celebration for our family success. Everyone was looking fresh clean, smelling expensive, uncles smoking cigars for the first time, drinking expensive wines, bought expensive brand new cars packed in a line and everything was looking dance as if we were celebrities. The chef brought us some expensive meal covered with gold and testing very nice and expensive.

My family invited the Chef to seat with us and everything was going well money and everything on the floor neighbors looking at us with smiles since they knew our family struggled a lot to get to where we was before the fire. Everyone was happy for us. Then came 8pm the time that destroyed our life’s until to this day. My uncle decided to use the restroom. On his left hand was a cigarette, on his right hand was an expensive bottle of alcohol. He was walking back and forth, side ways, fell stood up and everyone was laughing and enjoying but never thought anything bad could happen.

My uncle went inside the house to pee and came back without his cigarette, and without his bottle of an expensive alcohol. Every one asked home when he got back to where the cigarette and his bottle of alcohol was and he just said (with a drunk voice) “I slid and fell a in the carpet and I couldn’t find any of them. The next things all we could see was the sweat, tears and hardwork our family put in taken away from us again. Everyone was full of tears, my mom fainted, and everyone looked sober in just a second of seeing our mansion burning to the ground.

My sister asked about the other money that was left and it was also left In the burning mansion. Family had to sell everything and go back to being broke and my uncle committed suicide as he couldn’t pay all his debt and blamed himself for everything that had happened.

Don’t let success go into your head be who you are no matter what you have.
