Reading and Leeds festival has officially started.

One of the UK's Biggest festivals at Reading and Leeds.

Tens of thousands of music lovers began to come to the Reading Festival. The three-day event opens at both camps on a farm near Richfield Street at 08:00 BST on Thursday.

A group of revelers built temporary accommodation at the campsite for the next few nights. On Friday, the main stage will open and the music will begin.

Festival-goers are being asked to plan their journeys as train strikes are expected to cause disruption. Thames Valley Police urged festival-goers on social media to "take all valuables with you. Don't drink unsupervised and look after your friends".

"Have fun and enjoy the sunny weather," police added.

Drone pilots also saw the preparations from above, showing colorful tents set up and the main stage ready and waiting. Festival goers are asked to bring their tents home and use the new bottle bank. Fire pits, grills and disposable Vapes are prohibited this year.

This year's festival headliners include The 1975, replacing Lewis Capaldi, Falls, Billie Eilish, The Killers, Sam Fender and Imagine Dragons. It will last until Sunday and is expected to accommodate 105,000 people.
