PARENTS! LOOK INTO YOUR CHILDREN’S EYES AND LISTEN TO THEM!!!
Hello! I’m Super Bulldog, a hero sworn to stand by our children, guide them, and protect them from the grip of bad habits.

It was December 2024. A cold winter day. Snowflakes were dancing in the air as I set out for school to keep my promise to my friend, Arda. No matter how cold the weather was, it was impossible for me to ignore a child in need.
When I arrived at the schoolyard, the sight warmed my heart. The joyful shouts of the children and the excitement on their faces filled me with happiness. But this time, my visit wasn’t just about spreading joy — it was about having a deep conversation with Arda.
As soon as I stepped into the classroom, I hugged Arda. I looked at him with a warm smile, and this affectionate greeting helped him relax a bit. Then I sat beside him and noticed he seemed both excited and thoughtful. In a calm voice, I began:
“Hello, Arda. If there’s something I can help you with, please tell me.”
“Super Bulldog, my mom and I argue a lot. She pushes me to do my homework, but sometimes I just can’t keep up. I feel so inadequate.”
“Your mom cares about you, which is why she takes an interest in your work. But sometimes we adults struggle to express ourselves properly. Have you shared your feelings with her? If you told her, ‘Mom, I’m doing my best, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed,’ do you think she’d understand?”
“I don’t think so. She always says, ‘You can do better.’”
“Saying ‘You can do better’ actually shows that she believes in you. But to ease the pressure you feel, you should talk to her calmly. You could say something like, ‘Mom, let’s create a plan together, and I’d like your support while I follow it.’ This way, you’ll feel her love and improve your communication with her.”
Arda looked a little more at ease, but I realized his sense of helplessness wasn’t limited to this issue.
“Also, some of my classmates make fun of me. I got a low grade in math recently, and they laughed at me. I was so upset that I couldn’t even tell my mom.”
“You can’t control what others think about you, but you can control your own success and self-confidence. Getting a low grade doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It’s simply an opportunity to learn. How do you think your mom would have supported you if you had told her about it?”
“Maybe she would’ve comforted me, but I think I’d still feel bad.”
“It’s normal to feel bad, but remember that emotions are temporary. What you need to do is learn from this experience and prepare better for the next test. And by the way, asking for help isn’t a weakness — it’s a strength. You can always seek support from your mom or a teacher.”
His eyes started to shine. I must have given him some hope.
“Thank you, Super Bulldog. Talking to you has made me feel much better.”
The gratitude and warmth in his eyes moved me as well. I gently touched his shoulder and said, “I always believe in you.” But it was time to say goodbye.
“I have to go now,” I said softly, with a tinge of sadness. Arda asked, a little wistfully, “When will I see you again?”
“Remember, I’ll always be in your heart,” I said. “Don’t forget, you’re the greatest hero. Believe in yourself and never give up. You’ll see that sharing your troubles will make them easier to solve.”
Arda’s eyes sparkled, but a faint sense of separation echoed in my heart. We shared one last smile, and as I left the classroom, his hopeful gaze stayed with me.
