Mom Life

Anyone else can relate?

Memories

I am a busy mom, I don’t work a “real” job but I work 24/7 i don’t clock in or clock out I don’t have breaks I have the house to clean, the kids to raise and run here and there, then there’s errands to run and bills to pay. I take care of it all while trying not to lose my mind!

Mom Life; right? Anyone else feel like your overwhelmed and drowning?

I have 4 kids and sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind! I’m always the “bad” cop as my husband is over here playful the softie/“good” cop! I know they say if your kids say they “hate” you at least once your doing something right, but dang; it’s like having 5 kids sometimes lol. I love my hubby though he’s my rock my best friend I don’t know what I would do without him!

Our family is a big outdoors kind of family that can get wild, they have lots of energy to get out I try my best to keep them busy and tire them out it makes bedtime easier! Lol

All 4 of my kids have their own emotional and physical issuesI have some with adhd, ptsd, sensory issues, asthma, leg disabilities and many more things. Bedtime can be a chore, school is even harder the emotions run high here! It’s hard to take them out and do things as I have many people always making remarks; not always good unfortunately it’s usually bad; It’s actually pretty sad these days how people are honestly. My children arnt quiet when out and about they argue they cry they scream but what kid doesn’t?

We pick our battles though for sure if we go into a restaurant we bring small toys in to keep them busy while we wait, coloring only holds you over so long. We sometimes bribe or make deals if they are good they can get something or even work up to earn something later on; all families are different but what works, works. We try to take them to do things often though kids need to learn how to act in public, keeping them cooped up isn’t going to help, they need life outside the house, fresh air they need social interaction and appearance. Its always something when you have kids; am I right?

A sneak peak of some of our adventures we have been through … split open heads, almost broken bones, pinched fingers, slime in the hair and many more even more serious; we have been through a lot with our middle boy; man boys will be boys but this one needs a bubble suit for sure lol, he’s my accident prone baby, my hero, my true miracle boy for sure! We almost lost him at age 5 to a serious atv accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury! He was born with some small medical issues that effect his breathing and heart as well and now he has some life long struggles; nerve damage and memory loss and some personality disorders. Life has been rough the past year learning how to cope and live a different type of life now; at home out in public and even school. We got this though as a family we are a team!

Life is unfair and sometimes seem impossible but it’s what you make of it honestly, my kids keep me going they are the reason I push myself and wake up everyday! I can’t imagine a day without them.

I want to thrive and succeed in life I want to show my kids if you have a dream chase it,if you want something go for it. Life is short, too short not to! I have many things I could write about, ask about even give advise about! I want to connect with others that may share the same instests or have been through the same things. It takes a village to raise a family; we have a village but always room for more.
