10 tips in RAISING a CHILD
The perfect way of raising a child simply does not exist. You know how you want it, but sometimes you run out of patience and let yourself go. It happens to us all, only you want to give your child a decent education, for which he or she is grateful later on.

Letter to My Daughter on Mother's Day
It is my first official Mother's Day. I had you make Mother's day cards for everyone but me. It feels so strange to ask and then watch you craft a card for me. But, I always make sure that everyone else gets one. Our story is long and complicated. We officially adopted you this year. So many things had to fall apart before that could be put together. I lost my best friend. My trust was betrayed and my heart was broken; more than once. You were terrified and too young to verbalize that. When you realized that my home would be your home permanently, everything changed. I almost stopped going to school. It was too difficult to be one of your moms and participate in student life. What the hell was student life when it meant that you were growing up without me? I missed you terribly. I questioned my position in your life every day for nearly five years. You were mine the day you were born. The first day I held you, I promised you that you and I would always be together. When things took a turn, I felt like my purpose in your world did too.

The mother I never knew...
The mother I never knew... When I was born, I had a mother she was young, Rome the streets and couldn’t take care of me as much as she should. So my grandparents stepped in and raised me. Growing up I hated my biological mom for not being there, seeing me play the drums in school, or running in Field day, or graduating from high school. I could never understand why she didn’t want me.

A view of my childhood from the kitchen window
I always hated it when my mom left home. I am, and always was, incredibly close to her and felt sad and nervous when she wasn’t around. Because of this, it was a big production for me every time she left me at home because I was, and am, a crybaby. At first I would stand by the back door, located in the kitchen, and wave as she backed her car out of the driveway. Then, I would act as though I were a race announcer and yell, “On your mark, get set, go cat go,” before she was allowed to drive away. It eventually evolved to include a hand routine with it where I wrote the words in the air with my finger. Seeing as I was a small child, you can imagine how long this took, and if she dared to move before I was done, we had to start over. Maybe I should have known then that I had OCD?

A day worth millions of celebrations
Every year, I celebrate my birthday with great zest and enthusiasm with all my near and dear ones as the day reminds me how grateful I am for this beautiful life and spending one more eventful year on this earth. However, I never planned to celebrate a day for a person, who bore an excruciating pain for nine months to bring me into this life. An angel becomes a guiding soul in this alien world and a guardian to protect me from the odds. Who unceremoniously takes up the role of a teacher, friend, mentor, role model and so to this day, and still in return wish only the best of me.

The Christmas Present Cabbage Patch Doll
This is about a very special Christmas story with my family. When I was little I never wrote a letter to Santa ever telling him what I wanted. Every year I would get the most cool presents & this is one of those special times.I was 8 years old we had just moved to West Chester Ohio from Bowling Green Ohio. My parents in Bowling Green found a really kind, caring babysitter, they wouldn't leave me with just anyone. So when we moved here they hadn't found one yet to watch me while they did Christmas shopping.
