In order to draw the sketch about the origin of theater, we somehow believe on speculation because there are very less written evidence are found about this. The most common accepted theory that was drawn by anthropologist was found in late nineteen century and in the early twentieth century, is that the theater was emerged out of myth and rituals. The anthropologist describe their sketch and comes to a certain conclusion. It relates to the people desire to live a sophisticated lives. People become aware of the forces that influence the growth of their society and their well being.

These myth starts flourishing around these rituals. People celebrates their happiness and it becomes a part of their tradition. They perform different festivals and some are related to their ancestors. But as the people become more sophisticated they start to make improvements in their lifestyle and in this way several causal relationships may change. A group of people may agree to demolish or apply these rituals as a part of their tradition or not. And when these myths become part of their tradition, the first step and development towards the theater occurs. It takes a way to the theater as a autonomous activity. So, people enjoy their day by a glimpse of an entertainment around their life.

Origin in ritual always consider the most accepted theory, and it fully explain the origin of theater in everyday life. The other way is story telling and also consider a alternative to origin of rituals. Story telling was always a more entertaining way to amuse people. People put their imaginations according to their own way and every person has a different method of story telling. When it makes it way to the theater, it totally engage the audience and proves more amazing. Time by times it takes a one step ahead and includes dance as a main factor to engage the audience. Dancing is an effective method to make something alive out of nowhere. Not only dancing but sounds of different objects, called music, was also a great contribution towards the development of theater. People create music by the sounds of cool breeze, and by other small objects around them.

Beside explain different factors that lead to the development of the creature, scientist also tried to explain human desires that proves as a catalyst to the theater development. They tried to explain the human mind and their basic needs about living a healthy life. Aristotle a great philosopher, in fourth century, put forward his ideas to explain human nature. He said that human are naturally imitative, they found pleasure in different things and actions of the nature. They create theater to fulfill their imitative desire. Although theater falls to explain the meanings of rituals but it gains a huge popularity among asses. Another theory about humans tells us that, most people lives in a fantasy. They have created their own World. They want happiness to run away from their hectic routine. Here comes the theater act a medication for those people. Theater helps people to lay back their harsh realities and just enjoy their temporary pleasure. Above all, if we think about that, this activity is somehow good for human mind. They need peaceful and healthy environment to perform their daily activities. So, theater rescue people and makes them to forget their harsh and bitter society for sometime and just live a life of their fantasy.

But these are only myths about the origin of theater. The main reason is still unknown. And some scientist are trying to figure out the main reason behind the origin of theater.
