How Sometimes College Is Not the Best Option
For a lot of students, their last year of high school is centered around sending in applications to their top colleges and going on visits to see campuses. Today, college is very much the "norm," meaning that more people are attending college than in the past. All of high school seems to be leading up to going to university, and for a lot of students, trying to decide what you want to do with your life is stressful, considering that students go from having to ask to use the bathroom, to having to choose a major that will dictate what their career will be.

Summer Blues
As summer comes to its sweet ending, I can’t help but to get a bit sad as I look back at all the new memories created along with its endless amount of leisure and time. I am sure this doesn’t only apply to me. The early mornings for that sunrise or days to just sleep in forever. The free time to go out with friends and have fun doing whatever. Time for family and seeing loved ones that you haven’t seen in years. The extra time you can work and make some extra cash. Sometimes summer really does seem “endless”, and I truly wish it was. This summer is probably bittersweet to some, especially if you have just graduated high school and you’re ready to head off to college soon! What an exciting time it is for all of us as we start our new journey in life and make new friends along the way. Heading off to college is another adventure in itself, and it’s so crazy how the time has flown by. (And those commercials for dorm shopping can finally apply to us!) We are all saying goodbye to some of our closest friends and our families. It’s a sad moment to think about, however it is so important to not look back... look ahead! The best thing you can do is to be happy for everyone getting another fresh start and going on to experience new things. Hold on to the memories with those you love and look forward to making new ones. It’s hard to think that I am parting ways with some of my best friends who have been there for me through it all, but I am more than excited to see where life will take us and who we will meet along the way. Going to college holds so many new things to embrace. Find yourself. Go to that party. Network with people who have the same interests as you.

In my working career, whenever a boss has appeared in my proximity outright fear overtakes me. On the other hand, Executive Director Dottie Jordan of Mt. Kisco Childcare Center inspires something altogether different in me. I want—even though I don't always succeed—to live up to the progressive vision she has put forth in over 30 years of service. But on December 24, Dottie Jordan's tenure will come to an end. And while there'll be plenty of inspiration left to ensure that it will never do among this staff to "just look busy," MKCCC will still carry a void that can never be completely filled.

Is GCSE Music Valued Enough Across the UK?
Did you know that barely 1 in 20 pupils took music last year as a GCSE option? Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. Music in any form such as instrumental or vocal is enjoyed by everyone. It creates harmony; even animals enjoy the rhythm created by these musical sounds.

How to Get an A in Anatomy and Physiology
Anatomy and Physiology is one of those classes that almost any science major or anyone on track to the healthcare field or just anyone interested in the body and how it works will want to/have to take. Now the body is a very complex system and so this class can seem intimidating and challenging at first. Here are a few tips that were very helpful to my success in this class.

Finding where to live as a student in the UK is always a topic that many people are very interested in. Every day, the number of students who live or come to the UK increases with the goal of studying at a University. However, they come to the subject of where to live during their stay, which can often be several years. Today I will comment on my perspective of the types of accommodation in a University of the UK.
