The Best Teachers Have Real World Experience (Opinion)
I have the utmost respect for all those people who teach, have taught and will teach; whatever route they take to do so. It’s not an easy profession and definitely not a leave it at the door kind of job. During the time that I taught in secondary schools, I noticed differences between those teachers who had spent all their lives in education and those who had come into teaching later in life after having had another career. The points I mention below are not indicative of every teacher who never left education. Of course they aren’t. But they are the things that I observed that made me believe that the best teachers had been out in the real world and gained some experience before coming back to share their knowledge.

San Jose State Technical Writing Program
Somebody at my mental health clinic told me about this technical writing program. The classes I need are English 1A and 1B. I already have those on my transcript, but need to retake them for a higher grade. De Anza is simply more accessible than Foothill College at this point, since I live in San Jose. The required classes at San Jose State are the following: Introduction to Career Writing, E129, Editing for Writers E106, and Professional and Technical Writing, E107. Also, they want you to start by taking Modern English E103.

7 Important Questions for College Roommates

Seven of the most important questions everyone should ask potential future roommates are listed below.

Building Your First Semester. Top Story - November 2018.
When it comes to creating your degree it really boils down to making a semester at a time. Yes, you can do what I did, and collect 400 courses then make 10 semesters out of it. However, that takes a long time and I only did it because my ideal career is one of a synergy between three different "majors."

Did You Know You Can Go to College Debt-Free?
Ah, student loans, how I loathe you. I loathe what you've done to every generation of college student. I loathe how easy it is to sign up for you, how much you cost, and how long it takes to pay you off. Actually, I feel that way about all loans, but that's another story. :)

Old School Punishment
One day, a little boy named Benjamin was taken to school by his parents. He was only six years old and it was his first day in kindergarten. He was very anxious about being a big boy like his mother told him that he would be, but he was nervous because he didn’t know the other kids. None of them lived in his neighborhood and he wasn’t sure if they would like him.
