Stuck in my career.
I never wanted my Doctorate degree. Growing up I was never that person who said they wanted to go for their PhD. It was engrained in me that I would go for my Bachelors, that I had no choice in. But I never wanted to go beyond undergrad school; I was always that person who said I am done with school after my Bachelors. I had gone straight to undergrad after HS and it was exhausting. I really thought I would be able to use my degree and start my career but that turned out to not be the case. It was not that I had a degree I could not use but that no one would give me the chance to gain experience. I wanted my career so badly I decided to go back for my master’s to hopefully gain some notice and break into my field. If you can’t do go back to school.

My road to my Doctorate.
Starting my Doctorate program. I got accepted into my program in the summer of 2017 and was so terrified I put it off until January 2018. I was still nervous to start when the day came but I was determined. It was not an easy start though. My school started us out with an intro class and a regular full credit class. I had the best professors, but it was a time to learn and get used to the program. I needed to learn to write at that level and the classes were only seven weeks long; things moved fast. If you are not disciplined and on top of things you can get left behind or lost very easily. I set reminders for myself of when I would complete assignments and really stuck to it. Having that discipline was a true-life saver in this program. I ended up with an A in one class and 89.5 not rounded up but a B+ in the second. I was not happy with the B+ but it ended up being one of only two that I received in the entire program.

Things that I Know
This is the start of my offering study notes and guides to all the subjects that I have studied since undergraduate studies. The fields that I have studied while in college and even graduate school are: Early Childhood and Elementary education followed by a year in nursing school in a Practical nursing program. When after a few years I decided to go back to college and get a second Bachelors degree in Human services/Social work. This led me to starting a graduate program in Counseling that ended up in getting my Master's in Curriculum and instruction that also lead me to getting my doctorate in Reading and literacy. In studying and learning all about these areas I would like to share my class notes as well as some study guides and quizzes that I will create to give readers a chance to see what is entailed in these areas of study. I am also thinking about writing study outlines with the textbooks that I have studied over the years. There may also be some courses that I had in high school that I plan to write lesson plans and lectures for any education majors that may need ideas for their student teaching semester.

How to be consistent
Students often have this problem where they are not consistent. They fail to get things done on time, and sometimes they will do exceptionally well and knock it all out of the park. In life, if you need to get results, you need to be consistent with what you do. If you aren't, you will find your reputation and your grades suffering. Many students often get do my assignment for me, so that their standard of assignments can remain the same which is also a smart move because at the time of admission, they do get help from essay writers to get their admission essay written. Bur while it is smart, it is also a recurring cost as they have to get everything done professionally which they could have done easily themselves. But when it comes to college or your job at any office, you need to be consistent with your results otherwise you will find yourself in hot waters.
