Behind the Curtain: Juilliard Edition
It's hard to believe it's been 6 years since I graduated from the one, the only....Juilliard! Yes that school that everyone (and their mothers) have heard of, one of the top, prestigious Music Conservatories in the world where Yo-Yo Ma to John Williams has attended and gone off and taken over the world. Anyway I thought it would be fun to tell some stories and memories of have of going there. These stories aren't meant to critique the school or ANYONE just fun tid-bits that I remember so hopefully you will read these and enjoy them!

How I Procrastinated My Way to a 4.0 GPA in University. Top Story - February 2021.
Full disclosure: my university uses a 12-point GPA scale and conversion isn't as simple as dividing by three. Instead, I had to convert each grade to a 4 point scale and find the average of that figure. In the end, my 11.96 CGPA translated to a 4-point GPA of 3.996. For this article, I'm going to round that out to 4 because it's easier than repeating 3.996 all the time or putting it in the title.

You were originally from Hawaii, I believe. Japanese descent.

My Job Corps Experience, Chapter 3
The next morning I knew it was time to “Rise and Grind.” Now I’m not going to lie to you I’m not an early morning person. 9:30 or 10:30 am I can do, but 6:00 in the morning, I don’t know. We’re cutting it kind of close here Captain. I hear the knocks on the doors from SGA and staff, and I knew it was time to make moves. I went in the bathroom wash my face, brushed my teeth, put on some clothes, made sure I had my dorm room keys, made up my bed and I was out.
