Continuing The AICA Scholarship Program

AICA Orthopedics is proud to be continuing its scholarship program by offering a $500 award through the Marietta, Georgia branch. This is our third scholarship offering. In light of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, AICA Orthopedics is honored to continue to give back to students during this tough time for the world.

The AICA Chiropractic Scholarship

This award is known as the AICA Chiropractic Scholarship, and will be given to one student for the spring semester of April 2021. This time around AICA is looking for a student that is majoring in the medical field. As long as the studies relate to anything specific to medical health care (nursing, chiropractic care, suregons, health science, etc.) the individual will be considered eligible for a $500 check to help cover school expenses including tuition, housing, and college books.

Eligibility

Besides pursuing a degree in the medical field, the student must be studying at an accredited US institution (online is fine) and be enrolled fulltime at the university. The individual must be able to follow instructions properly and ensure all documents, essays, and information is correctly submitted.

Prospective students, such as high school seniors, are also encouraged to apply but must provide proof of enrollment and credit hours to be completed. There is no minimum GPA required to be considerd for this scholarship. Participants must be 18 or older to apply for this scholarship.

How To Apply

The way applicants will be screened is through an original, 500-800 word essay that the student will submit. The essay must be emailed (please do NOT use our contact form) to the address found on the scholarship page here. The essay must include the student's name, address, phone number, and the college they're currently attending or planning to attend.

You will write 500-800 words explaining who you are, your story, what your major is, and why you are choosing a career in the medical field. Please include this in your email and make sure the file is in .docx format. Only one submission and essay is allowed. Extra submissions will disqualify you from recieving this award.

When submitting your essay please include proof of enrollment and any neccesary documents.

NOTE: The winner of this scholarship is required for a 5 minute interview and will be featured in a blog on the Marrietta branch website. You can see previous winner's interviews on our blog.

Dates and Deadlines

The deadline for all applicants is April 16, 2021. A winner will be announced on May 1, 2021. The check will be mailed and processed by the college institution for the Fall semester of 2021.
