Who is the speed star

My Fairy Tale

By megangochoaPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

The pony, the deer, and the camel are always fighting over who can run the fastest.

The pony said, "I have the fastest sprint speed!"

The fawn said, "If it's an obstacle course, I will never lose to anyone!"

The camel said, "If it's a long-distance race, who dares to compete with me for endurance?"

They had many competitions, and each of them won or lost, but no one was convinced, so they decided to have a fair competition to decide who was the rightful champion.

So they found the clever fox, explained to him what happened, and asked him to be the designer and judge of the game. With a twinkle in his eye, the fox agreed.

The next day, the fox gathered the three together, gave them all a map, and explained, "I have analyzed the matches you have played among yourselves and have come to the conclusion that because the format of the match is too single, there is no way to highlight your characteristics, so every time you play, someone will feel that it is unfair. Am I right?"

The three of them thought about it and said in unison, "Indeed."

The fox nodded and continued, "Therefore, in the competition I designed, not only will the process be more complicated, but also take your characteristics into account, the test is your overall strength so that no one will question the results of the competition, don't you think so?"

All three people thought the fox had a good point.

"There is another point you guys should pay attention to. You know, each of you is as fast as a fly, the race may be invisible once the start, I can not get to the finish line before you as a judge, so -" said the fox took out three boxes, respectively handed to the three, "you have to bring their box You have to give the box you brought to the person designated by me, and whoever receives the box in his hand first is the champion, so that there will not be any mistakes."

All three felt that it was a wise decision to leave the competition entirely to the fox.

After making preparations, the race began. The first stage of the race was a straight line sprint, which was what the pony was best at, and he sprinted off ahead of the others, leaving the fawn and camel behind, and soon arrived at the second stage.

The second stage was a cross-country run, and the course was no longer a flat road, but a forest, full of vines, roots, and even bogs. The pony had to slow down and move carefully step by step when the lagging fawn and camel caught up.

The fawn was so agile that he jumped through the trees as if all obstacles did not exist in his eyes, and soon overtook the pony to take the lead in the third stage.

The third stage is along the river, the track will follow the direction of the river, changing direction from time to time, running here is no way to improve the speed, but also will consume more energy than usual. Gradually, the deer felt exhausted and had to stop for a water break. At this time, the camel with great endurance caught up with him, so the deer had to drag his tired body and continue the race.

The pony, with its speed, the deer, with its sensitive pace, and the camel, with its strength, came to the finish line almost simultaneously.

Who won in the end? All three of them were panting with exhaustion, hoping to find out from the receiver whether the winner of the race was themselves.

But the receiver didn't seem to be interested in the contest or anything. He took the box from the three and after checking the contents, he said to them, "Good work, acknowledge receipt of the goods. Go back and tell the fox that I will pay him the fee as agreed."

Looking at the back of the receiver leaving, the three look at me and I look at you, are dumbfounded, the results of the competition do not matter, the point is that the hard work in exchange for, but let the fox guy earned a fortune for nothing.
