The Kamchatka Peninsula has amazing landscapes both flora and fauna. It is referred to as the Land of Ice and Fire and is one of the wildest regions in the world.
It is home to brown bears and active volcanoes. Kamchatka has over 300 volcanoes of which from 28 to 36 are active. The volcanoes are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

There are also many rivers and lakes. Among the most famous rivers are Avacha, Malkinskaya Bystraya, the biggest river Kamchatka, Shumnaya, and Geysernaya.

The peninsula is home to the Valley of Geysers at the junction of the Shumnaya and Geysernaya Rivers. Here you can find nature reserves, nature parks, and protected areas.

Myanmar

Northern Forest Complex includes many subtropical forests located on the steep slopes of the easternmost stretch of the Himalayas.

Deep within the forests in the Kachin State is the Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, the largest tiger reserve in the world.

It is also home to bears, red pandas, and gibbons.
Australia
New Hebrides Trench

New Hebrides Trench is located off the eastern coast of Australia. It is a submarine trench in the South Pacific seafloor. The trench reaches maximum depths of some 25,000 feet and was first discovered in 1910 by a German naval vessel. It is home to different kinds of crustaceans.
New Zealand

Fiordland National Park is the largest park in New Zealand. It was shaped by glaciers.

The major part, Te Wahipounamua is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The wilderness is home to some unique animals like the takahe, a flightless indigenous bird.

Also, the kakapo is the world's only flightless, nocturnal parrot.

The southern ranges of the Southern Alps cover a large area of the park.

The Sutherland Falls are among the highest waterfalls in the world.

Madagascar

Tsingy De Bemeraha National Park got its name from the unique, massive limestone formations called tsingy. This national park and wildlife preserve is found on the western edge of Madagascar. It has a landscape of gorges, canyons, and forests.
It is the first area in Madagascar to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and has also become a UNESCO National Cultural Heritage site.

The national park is located north of the Manombolo River.

The Bemaraha Massif formed of limestone has many caves and an amazing canyon carved by the Manambolo River.
The western part of the plateau has dense dry forests that are part of the karstic massif. There are sub-humid forests in the valleys and wooded or grassy savannas.

The park is home to lemurs, terrestrial and aquatic birds, bats, amphibians, reptiles, endemic mammals, and at least 650 plant species.
Namibia

The Namib is estimated to be the world's oldest desert and one of the driest. The southern part is occupied by harsh desert. At 1256 feet tall, the giant Dune 7 is supposedly the tallest in the world.

The region is also home to the largest private game reserve in Namibia, the Namib Rand Nature Reserve.

Here visitors can see animals like gemsboks, hyenas, hartebeests, and zebras among others.

There are over 120 different bird species, along with the mysterious “fairy circles”.

Fish River Canyon is the second-largest canyon in the world.

The Fish River Canyon Hiking Trail is one of the most challenging in Southern Africa.

Keetmanshoop is one of the most beautiful sites in Namibia. It has quiver tree forests and dolerite rock formations that have eroded into unusual shapes.

Brazil
Vale Do Javari

The region is home to at least 14 uncontacted tribes of the Amazon and one of the most isolated places in the world. Vale Do Javari was named after the Javari River, the most important river of the region and forms the border with Peru.
Chile
Northern Patagonia

Northern Patagonia offers a combination of remote and untamed landscapes with natural beauty. Among the highlights are Coyhaique Lake General Carrera, Laguna San Rafael National Park, Patagonia Park of Douglas Tompkins, and Caleta Tortel.

Visitors can enjoy volcanoes, mountains, glaciers, and lakes. Enormous ice fields and deep channels are enjoyed by penguins.

You can take a boat excursion to the iconic Marble Cathedral in General Garnera Lake. Recreation also includes kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and fishing.
