Recently, I have been paying attention to all of the earthquakes that have been happening. Because there are so many, whether they be small or large. I also got an alert on the earth's crust peeling in one of the area's that has been getting hit with earthquakes Sierra, Nevada. We cannot forget about all the storms that have been going on, and the fact that the north pole magnetic field shifted towards Siberia. I am sorry I forgot to mention some volcanoes are becoming a threat.
I am first going to discuss the earth's crust peeling. I thought it was a joke when I read it two months ago. Unfortunately, this is true. I have not researched the impact this will have on us if any, or if it is just something that happens. According to google.com the earth's crust peeling is a geological process known as lithospheric foundering, involves the sinking of the Earth's rigid outer layer into the deeper mantle (found on www.google.com 2025, May 2).
According to seismologist Kilb, Deborah, who has been studying earthquakes for decades in California is now weighing on the deep earthquakes happening in Sierra Nevada. She states, a series of deep earthquakes that had occurred under the Sierra Nevada at a depth where Earth’s crust would typically be too hot and high pressure for seismic activity (found on www.edition.cnn.com Nicioli, Taylor 2025, April 18)." Then Schulte-Pelkum further explains the process of the earth's crust peeling, "Lithospheric foundering is the process of the denser materials being pulled to the bottom, while the less dense material emerges at the top, resulting in land creation. “It’s dumping some of this denser stuff into this gooey, solid mantle layer underneath and sort of basically detaching it so it stops pulling on the less dense stuff above (2025, April 18)"
Although this sounds really scary after reading the article the seismologists are looking at this as an incredible find, and will lead to further studies. For them this is exciting.
Another thing I wanted to write about is all the earthquakes that have been happening all around the world. Now it seems like they have become daily. I know some of them are mild, and could be fracking. However, there have been earthquakes in the recent month that have been more powerful, and along the same area where the earth's crust is peeling there are many that are happening. What does this mean? I am not sure. But check this video out someone posted five days ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNizn3FTC7c.
I am going to share the higher numbers what I just found for recent earthquakes on May 3, 2025 White City, NM 5.4, IZU Islands 5.1, Drake Passage 5.3, Ushuala, Argentina 5.0, and for today's date 5/5/2025 NE of Cruz Bay, US Virgin 5.6, and again Ushuala, Argentina 4.4 (https://earthquake.usgs.gov 2025/May 4).
Information about the active/threats of volcanoes. As of today Kilauea is erupting. Volcanoes that are being watched currently Mount Spurr Alaska, and Axial Seamount underwater near Oregon (found on google 2025 May 4). There are many more that are showing signs of activity you can check out on Smithsonian at https://volcano.si.edu.
Another big event going on is the North Pole's magnetic field shifting towards Siberia, and what does this mean. Bascially, because of the accelerated rate it was moving, until recently, it creates friction in the GPS system such as military, shipping, and aviation. There is no real answer to why the magnetic field changed. Check out just how much the magnetic field moved on this website, https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/21/science/magnetic-north-pole-new-position#. Also, www.google.com states the North magnetic pole moving has an effect on navigation, power grids, and animals migrating (found on 2025 May 4).
OK: Now let's talk about all the storms, flooding, and wildfires that are happening just in the US alone. Currently, we are in a tornado peak season for the southern to central plains, and the midwest. Again, according to google this year the tornadoes have went up significantly already over 470 in April. As of now historically it has doubled. The same areas have also been hit with massive flooding. There are videos all over the internet.
Lastly, I want to talk about the wildfires. Yes, every year there are wildfires, but now they are happening in areas, including Massachusetts. Yes, some are due to human activity, and some of it is due to droughts that we never had. I am just going to name the most recent in Massachusetts, which are Cape Cod, and Wocester.
Although, this was not meant to be a scary article. I have to admit there migh be something to all of this, or it could be a natural occurance that is happening. There are just too many weather and environmental changes going on. I know earthquakes have nothing to do with the weather, but still the numbers are up. BTW: I started watching a man named Nick Thomas on facebook, and youtube. He has been spot on for the earthquakes. I also give credit to msn.news. I know we do not hear about any of this on our regular news. I am not sure why exactly. Maybe all of this means nothing.
