The Purpose You Were Born Into This World

Live and Let Live

By vignesh kumarPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

From birth to death, every natural creature strives to bring more life into the world and to improve the natural environment in which they live.

Except for us, all creatures in nature fulfill the purpose for which they were born.

This is our home, the planet we call Earth. No other single creature stands up to nature. They all live within nature’s rules for sustainable living. Before they die, they have contributed to the creation of many lives.

Sustainability means balance. When one thing goes out, another comes in.

There is no other place to look for balance than in mother nature. She is the definition of sustainability. All these years, she had successfully maintained the balance in all forms of life until we interrupted her.

Nature Creates:

A beaver constructs its house. The same house also functions as a dam, slowing the flow of water and allowing it to reach the nearby landmass that supports life.

A bird consumes a seed from fruit or tree, flies away, and scatters it in another environment. The seed sprouts into a new tree. It creates life.

A cow eats grass, fallen fruits, vegetables, and dung where they roam. The dung feeds the microbes on the land, and the trees eat from the land. It feeds life.

A tiger hunts deer and feeds them once a week, keeping their population in check. Without tigers, deer will overpopulate and eat up all the food. Other beings will perish as a result. Tiger keeps it in balance. They are nature’s population control.

In every moment they live and contribute to others’ lives, maintaining balance and creating a sustainable way of life.

We should be on the list, but instead,

We Destroy:

Nature provides everyone with free, nutritious food. Other creatures eat it raw, as it is in nature. We cook it and eat it. When you cook it, you kill it.

When you throw out rotten fruit, it becomes food for the land and other creatures, but throwing out cooked food is a waste. We already killed it. No other living creature will feed on it.

We are the only beings that feed on dead food.

We don’t even poop on the ground anymore because we have toilets. What happens to the creatures that feed on our feces? They perish. Even your poop loses its nutrients when you consume cooked foods. It’s not healthy food for the trees or the land.

We raise livestock for meat and suck out its calf milk for human consumption. Meat is for carnivores, not fruitarians. Why can’t we eat it raw if we’re carnivores? We don’t even have the teeth to deal with it.

Every day, millions of tonnes of waste are produced in the form of fashion, technology, money, and our unsatisfied desire for pleasure. Every minute, thousands of lives are lost as a result of the waste we generate.

We are the only living thing on Earth that produces waste.

Mother nature gives everything free to her kids; we put price tags on everything, even water.

We are the only creatures that need to pay for food.

We’ve turned ourselves into wrecking balls. throwing everything off balance without understanding nature’s design. We literally destroy everything, from our food to our livelihoods.

No matter what we do or what titles we hold, we are all here for the same reason: to create more life, not just in our own species but to assist other life and enrich the environment we live in.

It doesn’t make sense for us to travel to Mars without first repairing the damage we’ve caused to our mother earth. She is the only place we are capable of living in. She is our home.

A Kindred spirit, as someone else said. No one wants to hear the truth. We preach and preach. We never learn. Doom is our name. Amen. Really enjoyed the piece. Thanks for liking Bonnie and Floyde.
