The most windy part of the typhoon is the wind eye wall

How to deal with typhoons

Typhoon is a classification of tropical cyclones in Asian Pacific countries or regions, north of the equator and west of the solar line. Typhoon sudden rise, the sea tide raging waves, shocking waves, faint, so what to do when a typhoon comes? Do you understand typhoons? The following is a detailed introduction, take a look!

After the scientists' exploration, do you know how to cope with it typhoon days?

The part of the typhoon with the greatest wind

The part of the typhoon with the greatest wind is the eye wall.

The eye wall is the cloud that surrounds the center of the typhoon, also known as the "eye wall". At the eye, the wind is relatively calm, but the edge of the eye is the strongest part of the storm, which is called the "eye wall". The eye wall is in the area around the eye, surrounded by the eye in the shape of a barrel, for the typhoon "eye" around the annular cloud area, where the fastest and strongest wind, convection is very strong, is the strongest tropical cyclone wind place.

How much do you know about typhoons?

The formation of typhoons requires the following conditions: sea surface water temperature above 26.5℃; certain initial disturbance of positive voracity; small shear of the ambient wind in the vertical direction; low pressure or cloud disturbance at least a few degrees from the equator.

Typhoons originate in tropical seas where temperatures are high and large amounts of seawater are evaporated into the air, creating a low-pressure center. With the change in air pressure and the earth's motion, the flowing air also rotates, forming a vortex of counterclockwise rotating air, which is a tropical cyclone. As long as the temperature does not fall, this tropical cyclone will become stronger and stronger, and finally formed a typhoon.

After the scientists' exploration, do you know what to do on typhoon days?

How are typhoons named?

In the beginning, typhoons were not named uniformly, and the same typhoon was called by different names in different countries. Later, to prevent confusion and strengthen cooperation in typhoon prevention, the World Meteorological Organization organized a meeting with 14 countries and regions near the western Pacific Ocean in 1997 to discuss the collection of typhoons and give them a common name.

Each of these countries and regions could give 10 names to the typhoon according to their preferences or characteristics, making a total of 140 names to make a typhoon naming list. Since 2000, typhoons have been named in that order every year, and the list has been recycled year after year. The names are presented in English, and the Chinese translations are determined in consultation between the CAM and the Hong Kong Observatory and the Macao Geophysical and Meteorological Bureau. With this naming table, each time a typhoon comes, just take the names out of the table in order and use them. Of course, there will be a day when they are removed from the list. If a typhoon is particularly destructive and causes huge property damage and casualties, it is a disqualified typhoon, and the country or region that suffered the damage has the right to appeal to the World Meteorological Organization to sue it for financial harm, and it will be removed from the list and face permanent imprisonment.

What should I do when a typhoon comes?

Reduce going out, listening to, watching, or going online for typhoon warning information in time.

Stock up on supplies and stock up on food well in advance.

You should close doors and windows at home and reinforce them in time to prevent them from being blown away and causing unnecessary damage if you find they are not strong.

If you see wires being blown off and falling on the ground, do not go near them to prevent the danger of electric shock.

If you are in a car, you should get out quickly and rely on buildings to take shelter from the typhoon, never stay in the car.

Cars should be parked as high as possible.
