we've all had our share of secrets. However, some places are so restricted and guarded that entry or exit is practically impossible. Or was until now. Buckle up, super spy, you have a ticket to places you couldn't go before. Weand#039; going anywhere in the world and from the safest Starbucks to anywhere in this giant concrete hole. It will be dangerous. So keep your wits about us as we take a look at the most heavily guarded places on Earth. (good music) Mars Madness. What's a video of high security locations without Area 51? It may be the world's best kept secret, but what do we really know about it? According to the official story, it is a classified US Air Force facility outside Las Vegas, Nevada. It was originally used by the CIA to develop and test the U-2 spy plane, but that is not why it is famous. In 1989, a man named Bob Lazar claimed to have worked there to design an inverted alien spacecraft. Since then, conspiracies and myths have spread about what is happening there. This culminated in 2019 when 150 Americans threatened Naruto to bypass security and release the aliens they thought were being held captive. Ah, that's why other countries hate us. Frankly, it's impossible to know how extensive Area 51's security measures are. The entire area is covered in a no-go zone, with armed guards patrolling the grounds and motion sensors to help conceal the guards' location. Employees are not even allowed to drive. All transport is by private aircraft operated by air traffic control under the name of Janet Airlines. But beyond that, the secret existence of Area 51 only makes the mystery easier. Despite documented evidence of the existence of Area 51 dating back to 1955, the CIA refused to acknowledge it until 2013. It certainly sounds suspicious, but the truth is, we simply don't know what they and#039; cover What if all this alien talk is distracting from everything that's really going on. - [Speaker] The FBI opened up. - [Narrator] Damn, I think they're on me. Maximum Security Slammer. Ever since I avoided a walking fine in 2008, I've lived like a fugitive. I really hope they never get me. Dungeon sounds nasty, especially ADX Florence in Fremont County, Colorado. Opened in 1994, the prison is currently the only supermax security prison in the United States, with a maximum capacity of only 490 inmates. The facility specializes in high-profile prisoners, including Ted Kczynski, also known as the Unabomber, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber and the world's most dangerous prisoners who require the highest security measures. The inmates of ADX Florence have almost no time outside their cells. In fact, the prisoner has no contact with other prisoners during the first three years. Only after these three years can they serve outside the time with good behavior. And by outside I don't mean frolicking in a nice meadow. No, andquot;outside andquot; there is a heavily guarded area called a "concrete pit" And if you imagine something like that, it's actually a little worse. These are just some of your actual photoshopped images. The actual concrete well is a very small yard, barely enough to walk 10 paces in a straight line. And its roofs are built to let in sunlight without inmates seeing the sky or the sun above them. As for the cells, they are a modest seven by 12 feet and have one small window, four inches by four feet high. You can almost see the sky through it, but almost nothing else. Planning an escape is impossible. Inside, the bed, desk and chair are made of concrete. Thus, the prisoners cannot use them to injure themselves in the guards. When the toilet clogs, it shuts off and the shower operates on a timer to prevent flooding. Every possible detail you can imagine is considered and not limited to that. Outside the cells there are many motion sensors, cameras and remote controlled steel doors. Police officers monitor the inmates 24/7 and a panic button locks down the entire building should anything go wrong. If, and it's a big if, the prisoner still got out, the other side of the prison yard is marked with laser beams and attack dogs. Yes. The best hope is that they take it easy on you and behave well. Vegetative vault. We humans are resilient people. Take me, and you'd never guess I fell on my head like a boy. Regardless, we always find a way to bounce back, and the brilliant people of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault are working towards the most incredible human survival I can imagine. Imagine if a future event wipes out global crops, how will we feed ourselves? There are no Jollibees at the end of the world. The Global Seed Vault is a reserve gene bank containing more than 1.2 million seed samples from almost every country in the world to ensure the future of food supply. Magnificent. The vault is located on the Norwegian island of Svalbord, the northernmost by scheduled air travel, making it exceptionally remote, yet still accessible. And that's not the only bonus of the place. The main vault itself is buried 430 meters deep in thick rock and permafrost, which regulates the internal temperature to a fraction below zero degrees Fahrenheit and keeps the seeds perfectly preserved. But their preservation is not only based on the elements, they are also stored in modern refrigeration equipment. Despite what these failed scientists predict, it would still take a full 200 years for indoor temperatures to rise above freezing. As for the seeds, each sample consists of 500 seeds of a specific plant, stored in a custom triple layer.
