The freedom doves

I dreamt of a beautiful white dove flying towards me last night, an olive branch held gently in her tiny beak, and I knew for sure that she was bringing me news of peace, hope and freedom.

She came to rest gently on my bed, this dove. Perched daintily, her kind eyes beseeching, she offered the olive branch and the messages to uplift my spirit and that of the world.

She spoke of the doves, and entreated me to pass the communique along to the world.

I have, relatively speaking, freedom to do as I please. I reside in the part of the world where I have autonomy, mostly, towards my own actions and movements. True freedom is not where you live, where you play or the space where your physical body inhabits at any specific time. Intricate, intrinsic freedom is much like a cleansing breath of fresh country air, held suspended in time, and yours to inhale for ever. Freedom is a state of mind, an unchained melody.

True freedom signifies a letting go, an abandonment of self, and becoming one with the universe and nature itself.

My desire for freedom stems from my own mind, not from being held captive by another. I had a difficult childhood, which left me introverted and a little socially withdrawn.

I am an adult now, grown as far as adults will ever grow, with a plethora of newness yet to be explored.

I have experienced connections that made me feel a kinship with others, feeling so alike in mind and spirit, that it felt really close to true freedom of both souls. But it was a fleeting release, for if a weak link appears in that chain, the bond is severed, triggering a paralyzing of the spirit and dampening of my true melody.

I realize that my path to mental freedom lies totally within myself.

IN IMPARTING THE MESSAGE OF MY DREAM, I SHALL ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN AND INTERPRET THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE DOVES, BOTH FOR MYSELF AND THE WORLD AT LARGE.

Doves are symbols of love, dignity, grace, devotion, sacrifice, piousness, optimism, purification, peace, and prosperity.

In some way may they offer a sense of comfort and calm to soothe the shattered and grieving souls amid loss and pain. Loss of one's basic freedom is one of mankind's greatest sorrow. It can bow the spirit and obfuscate the mind, making their reality appear blurred, surreal and confusing.

THE GREY DOVES

Their message is one of renewal.

The grey doves are symbols of hope, peace, spirituality, optimism and renewal. Please be encouraged during these agonizing unfortunate times, to observe peace in your waking lives despite the trials and tribulation. If they come in pairs, your life and hopes will be fulfilled double.

THE WHITE DOVE

The white dove of harmony.

Allow her pure flight of freedom to free your minds, even for a short while, to soar to heights of joy and elation as you imagine that feeling of being one with nature again. The day you are free to awaken to calm and quiet in your lives.

She represents prosperity kindness, forgiveness, and a new beginning. A white dove means ushering in a new and harmonic phase in life.

THE TURTLE DOVE

The dove of love songs and poetry, promising friendship and comfort.

She brings friendship, devotion and companionship. She is the reason we wish to awaken to a serene and peaceful start to our days, and transcend into our evenings and nights in blessed tranquility and freedom to just be ourselves.

THE BLACK DOVES

There will be death was her promise.

Do not dream of these graceful but unlucky omens as you sleep.

For these are the doves of negativity, conflict and death. The bringers of all that we do not wish to be in our sleeping or waking consciousness. The things that ruin our reality and bring great upheaval and misery.

THE BROWN DOVES

They come to offer positivity, to counteract the negative, they shall bring you tranquility.

The brown dove urges peace. They bring the wish of the entire world in their little bodies. They remind us that even in small ways, we too can make a difference. No participation in the pursuit of peace and happiness is ever measured in weight, but rather, in content.

THE FINAL DREAM

RELEASING THE DOVE

The symbolic act of releasing the dove, and a freeing of the soul.

The final step to my freedom came in the realization that, I am the only one who can release my hold on my own mind and emancipate it from it's cobwebs. I have to reach deep into my own soul and fight my way back to realization of my mental freedom.

For those in captivity, fighting for freedom, it will be a double edged sword. For, first, you must free yourself from bondage, then brave your second and maybe even harder battle to free your minds, in order to return to peace and happiness in your lives.

So, finally fully awake, I am ready for a dawning of a new 'Age of Aquarius', which signifies:

'An astrological age which is about to begin, marked by the precession of the vernal equinox into Aquarius, believed by some to herald worldwide peace and harmony. Age of aquarius is when the sun moves out of the pisces constellation and enters the aquarius constellation in approximately 2150. It takes the sun 2150 earth years to travel through each constellation'.

We are edging ourselves towards the end, with our quest for self beyond anything else. We are hell bent on disregarding the forewarned prophesy ordained to bring us peace and freedom.

Life is an uphill battle. Hard fought for most of us.

Let us not give up. Let us fight on.

FOR FREEDOM.

We must release our dove with our own hands, thus releasing our struggles and welcoming our freedom.
