An Owl’s Wisdom

I dreamt of a night lit sky that shined like no other in Bethlehem, Israel. It was cold and had snowed, but the moon glistened within each flake. There was also in the midst of the North a great star set forth to follow where wise men traveled. I saw fruit that had many branches and the vine thereof was everlasting. An owl knew its path by flight and landed on a barn as the sun began to rise.

Moment by moment the dream became more abstract and all I saw was colors as bright as the Sun. It was very peculiar that the barn owl drew near with certainty towards land. As in the days of Noah, the dove did fly with certainty to find ground, but this was different. The determination of finding The Son of God all while being a creation of Him.

The wind blew heavy and the snow started to melt away. I saw God’s eyes and how he knew me by name. Lightning struck and I saw many faces that I began to know. Many cried tears that flowed like rivers and few walked with their heads held high. As for me, I prayed to finish and fascinated by God’s eyes.

Thinking more of what to pray next, The Word began to move as flesh. He moved as He did in the beginning; strong and mighty. The grass had now sprung up and I believe flowers bloomed too! Heaven! It was God that I saw in th dream, but the enemy plotted a scheme.

“He’s in the desert!”, said the enemy.

“No, He is over in the field!”, said the enemy again.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus will be riding on a cloud. Isn’t it something how we can believe in dreams again? A dream that you can see and wake up from. Even the streams in dreams keep children playing. Where there are no worries and food is abundant.

I don’t wish anymore, I pray to dream and to fly like the barn owl into everlasting life. I love my life in Christ, but before I needed improvement. I believe that’s why wise men never look back to king Herod. To tell him of Christs’ where abouts.

Am I still dreaming? I feel warmth coming from God’s smile. He knows me and He seeks for people like you too! Have you ever been to a church before? Well, God desires your heart. He sees all of your years in a second and wants you as his child again.

“I am here for you,” said Jesus.

“I am here when you need me,” said Jesus.

Look beyond your trouble! Look to the hills where help comes from! You’ll be able to see God’s eyes in the clouds and understand Him in your very own way. Look I say to the heavens where your help comes from! A barn owl flies without knowledge of where he lays to rest, neither should you, little children of God.

Therefore, we know now that the mission of the barn owl was not fly, but to see. To see a better life and that was Christ’s. People say that they are the barn owl from the dream. There’s a time for everything!

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”
