The Voice of Nature
A moist, Brazilian grove nestled in the shade of the canopy of cathedral like, five hundred year old Dinizia Excelsa’s. At eighty-eight metres, they were easily the tallest rainforest trees that kissed a twisting ridge that provided shade to a valley near Curuná-una, near one of the upper reaches of the Amazon.

Heartbreak At Hobbiton
Sitting high up in the horizon skies over Hamilton, New Zealand, I watch over the gathering of my subject, Earthling Seth, and his family and friends. They reside in a cozy, large bungalow heated by a fireplace. The bungalow was surrounded by trees, with morning winter fog rising from the Waikato River.

THE SCARLET MACAW
John and Karen met while working for the same travel magazine in New York. Both were photographers assigned to documenting exotic animals in their natural habitats. What started off as a friendship with mutual interests quickly turned to romance. They now lived together in an upscale loft in New York City. Rarely did they get to work on the same assignment together, so they jumped at the chance when an editor asked them to travel to Belize to photograph the endangered Scarlet Macaw. Karen was thrilled beyond her wildest imagination for the opportunity to visit this enchanted land.

How Skating Led Me To Louie
I was living in California, yes very sunny California, the place where it never rains. I was young and full of energy so you would think I would want to try my hand at some outdoor sport such as surfing. No, can't do that, too afraid of sharks, although they truly fascinate me. I try to learn more about sharks all the time. Maybe, they aren't really the creatures of the deep that strike fear into the heart of mankind at the mere mention of their species. That fear, however, would eliminate any ocean water sport since I was afraid to put my big toe into the water. No, instead I decided of all things to learn how to do something that I had never been very good at as a little girl. I thought I would follow in my little sister Gail's footsteps and learn how to do Ice Skating!

Is Sex Seven Dimensional Chess? By Howard Bloom
Why did nature allow you, the gaudiest and most wasteful plants in history, you flowering plants, you angiosperms, to thrive? Why did she favor you despite your sins, your sins of materialism, consumerism, waste, and vain display? Because your sins were blessings in disguise.

THE SCARLET LAND
Hello there friend, my name is Callula, and I have been flying around trying my hardest to stay out of trouble all day. If you haven't guest I am a fairy. I have been known to get into mischief. But it is just my way of having fun. Last week I tried to use my magic wand to make Twyla's nose bigger. Guess what, it worked. And oh boy was it funny! I laughed and laughed at Twyla and the big nose I had made for her. Our queen Lola, who is the queen of all the fairies was not amused. She made me change Twyla's nose back to normal. Then she took away my wand for privileges for 3 days. So this is why I am trying to keep out of trouble today. It is getting time for me to go back home. Hey why don't you come along with me. I would love to show you my home, it is like nothing you have ever seen. Grab my hand I will lead the way.
