Air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution are major types of environmental pollution. As we live in a modern era, there are other types of pollution; noise pollution, light pollution, plastic pollution. This pollution has a great influence on all the living organisms of the Earth.

We also respect the welfare of our customers by only using organic, locally sourced produce and avoiding the need for antibiotics, hormones or antibiotics on-farm. We aim to minimise our environmental impact by getting all our produce to our customers as locally sourced as possible. We use sustainable products when possible - no plastic packaging, no glass, no toxic chemicals and no additives.

The White Birds Return
Throughout the seasons, throughout each day, the birds in the yard announce their presence with songs, both distinctive and cohesive. The whistles of the cardinal, the squeaks and clicks of the starling, the high- pitched song of the sparrow, the peep of the junco, and the insistent cry of the blue jay form a joyful chorus. The hooting owl provides the bass. The woodpecker’s search for food completes the ensemble with its addition of percussion. The members of the chorus change with the seasons but continue to celebrate each day.

Yemen, as well as the Dutch enclave of Malabar. These original coffee varieties eventually developed into Arabica, the direct descendants of six coffee trees that the Dutch managed to smuggle out of Yemen and plant in the Amsterdam botanical garden.

The crow’s name was Betty. And she was on her way to stardom. A gaggle of Oxford University scientists watched in wonder as she casually picked up a piece of wire in her cage and then used a nearby object to bend it at one end, transforming the wire into a hooked tool. That tool allowed Betty to hoist up a small container of meat – delicious pig’s heart – from inside a plastic tube. Lunch was served.

We only have one Home. And it doesn’t belong to us, any of it. You can’t own Nature – the indigenous nations everywhere know this, they understand they are the stewards, protectors and guardians, and they behave accordingly, with respect and gratitude. But we, the civilized people, seem to have forgotten the true order of things.
