Our mission is to produce sustainable, local and organic food using organic farming methods and ethical farming practices.
We use quality organic produce and water from a water filter system and no pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, fertilisers or pesticides. We also respect the welfare of our customers by only using organic, locally sourced produce and avoiding the need for antibiotics, hormones or antibiotics on-farm. We aim to minimise our environmental impact by getting all our produce to our customers as locally sourced as possible. We use sustainable products when possible - no plastic packaging, no glass, no toxic chemicals and no additives.
We employ a simple yet effective approach with a strong focus on the quality of the ingredients we use. We source and produce all our food from local plants, which means keeping our production processes simple and predictable. We work closely with our suppliers and suppliers in the surrounding community. We make sure all our products are of the highest quality whilst ensuring that we produce ethically and sustainably. We are a family business producing produce and seeds for our customers.
We do this to ensure a long time supply of our customers fresh produce with a high level of freshness.
We believe that the farming business is a little too focused on the quantity and the quality of the products, with little focus on the process of the farming and little commitment to the quality of food being produced. We have no problem working with suppliers and we have no problem working with farmers and they are happy to work with us! We love working with producers who are passionate about farming and take great pride in the products being produced.
We are an organic farming business that we make sustainable food choices based on what we know the environment best. We supply farmers worldwide with their own organic products. We do this by organic farming under the guidance of experienced and certified farmers who have carefully selected, bred and sourced organic produce. We also support farmers in the small town of Sandford on the shores of Devon. Our brand is a brand that has been created to represent who we are, our ethos and our principles.We have a team of experienced and dedicated farm workers, both trained individuals as well as people with full year's experience who have built a reputation for delivering a very high quality organic farming business, with an organic farming philosophy that is at the forefront of our business and a very long history of organic farming in the region. The land on which our farm is situated is highly developed and has been for years, so we take pride in our organic farming practices.
We value a holistic approach to agriculture. Our members are organic farmers who practise sustainable farming and a healthy diet. They live an active lifestyle and are involved in local community and community projects. We believe that everyone, regardless of where they live, has the right to food and deserve the right to live healthy and provide for their families. We believe that everyone, regardless of your circumstances or where you live, deserves to live in harmony with nature while living in harmony with one another.
Our passion for quality, freshness and sustainability has always been the foundation to what we have achieved on our farm. The main thing is to make a difference and to utilise all our experience, knowledge and expertise to create the greatest possible sustainable food for tomorrow.
The farming philosophy is to use what we harvest to improve and expand our core product range that is a combination of earth based crops and organic farming techniques that are produced sustainably. It is these core principles that we strive to stay true to. We source all of our food and fertiliser from local organic farms that are part of the Cooperative Organic Farming network of organic markets and growers. We also source all of our organic produce from nearby farms that have cooperative arrangements with us.
Our organic garden is a beautiful place to grow our vegetables and, to date, organic produce is our largest source of income. We have experienced, high quality organic farmers in our community and a strong connection with many. If you are looking to buy organic produce or seed from us we are a good choice as we invest in our garden and the quality of our produce.
We are a fully integrated farm run by a team of passionate people passionate about the food we produce and the products we offer and our customers. We have been growing our business from seed to sale for the last 3 years. Our seedlings are already grown in a range of plants of different types and colours and we have planted a variety of organic crops including organic produce from our own horticultural garden. We also have a full range of vegetables and herbs which we grow to supply our customers. We are a family farm and we are always looking for new and exciting ways to better serve our customers.
We source and develop our own food through the ‘Grow Your Ingredients’ system that gives us the choice to set our own prices and to grow our own food through the use of natural resources. We have been involved in organic farming for over 15 years and have grown our own organic produce for 10 years.
