Scientists find 'giant sperm' that fell during mating and was sealed in amber, about a hundred million years ago

The Earth was born about 4.6 billion years ago, and throughout its long history, humans and other creatures on the planet have gradually evolved. However, it is important to know that in ancient times there were no humans on Earth, or that humans were not the masters of the planet at that time. In modern times there is still some evidence or remains that can help us to understand prehistoric creatures. In this case, the main way to understand the ancient world is through fossils or the remains of animals. Amber is also a very important object of study, and they are powerful evidence.

I believe that we all know about amber, a substance that is formed mainly due to the solidification of some liquids secreted by plants in the process of dropping.

It can be preserved for a long time due to its special composition, and it will not decay or deform if it can be wrapped in some substance.

Amber is a phenomenon that often happens, but in ancient times amber formation process, it is possible to preserve for us some memories from prehistoric creatures.

The first of these is a small insect that has been inadvertently encased in solidified amber for hundreds of millions of years.

Scientists have previously discovered such a strange amber because it contains two small insects that are in the process of mating.

The discovery of such an amber can be very significant for scientists, who did not expect to capture such behavior just right, which can be very valuable for research.

The amber was found to be about 100 million years old, and the two insects wrapped in it are called mesozoans, and the two can be seen mating through sophisticated instruments.

The formation of this kind of amber is a rare coincidence, because occasionally an insect is already very precious, not to mention that the probability of such a situation happening is also very low.

Scientists speculate that the two mesocosms were mating at the time, but did not expect to be accidentally wrapped in the resin dripping from the tree. After that, they were sealed, and although they have gone through the wind and had a long history of change, they were not expected to remain very well preserved.

And this situation is not surprising, scientists are in which found a special material, that is, the mesomorph sperm!

The size of the amber is very small, and the weight of the whole amber is only 0.676 grams, but the scientists found their sperm length reached 200 microns.

This is the need to use special precision instruments to be able to detect, you may see this data does not have an intuitive feeling. But in comparison, the human sperm length is only about 20 microns, so you can see that their sperm is beyond the human sperm several times, called the giant sperm.

This discovery also makes scientists very excited, because even now, it is difficult to find some creatures whose sperm can reach such a huge volume. Moreover, the two creatures were small in size, so this discovery also has a very great value.

Scientists may be able to explore the origins of the creatures and the processes and changes they encountered during their evolution by analyzing them in detail.

For amber, we can still feel the call of ancient times in the present day, which makes us realize that the mysteries of nature are endless, and we believe that one day we will understand them in more detail!
