Scientists discover 'Earth's Opa', 11 days are a year, life may exist
Scientists discover "Earth's Opa"

I am sure that many people have pondered this question: Is there alien life in the distant universe? To answer this question, we must first think in terms of our experience on Earth. Under normal circumstances, life can evolve as long as there is a suitable environment for survival, such as temperature, air, water, nutrients, etc., the possibility of life evolving increases infinitely when the time and place are fulfilled.
This conclusion is the result of human experience on Earth, but some question it. They argue that we should not look at alien life from the perspective of Earth. Perhaps extraterrestrial life does not live in the same conditions as humans, and even in harsh environments, extraterrestrial life may evolve or survive in another form.
There is no answer to this question until extraterrestrial life is found altogether. As time progresses, scientists are using more sophisticated instruments to observe and explore the universe to find the answer to this question. But until now, mankind has not found any species with a life form.
Apart from the search for extraterrestrial life, the biggest reason why humans are committed to searching for Earth-like planets is that sooner or later the planet's resources will be exhausted as humans continue to make demands on it. The search for a planet suitable for human habitation is imperative to ensure the continuation of the human race and the existence of a suitable planet. So is there a planet in the vast universe that is suitable for human habitation?
I think it exists. After all, the number of planets in the vastness of the universe is incalculable. Even if the probability is only one in 10,000, the number is still very significant in the face of a huge base. For example, there are hundreds of billions of stars like the Sun, not to mention the number of planets. And there are quite a few planets like Earth that are suitable for human habitation. Scientists estimate that there are around 100 billion of them. Finding a planet similar to Earth is not difficult, but exploring it on the ground is very difficult because the distances are so great that it would take tens of thousands or even millions of years for a flying machine to reach it at the fastest human speed.
Although many planets in the universe are suitable for human habitation, it is still a great challenge to observe them with the current level of technology. As technology has advanced, scientists have used a variety of sophisticated telescopes to find such planets. So far, dozens of planets suitable for human habitation have been discovered. in June, scientists discovered a planet suitable for human habitation through the Subaru telescope, and even believe that primitive life exists on the planet.
The planet is located in the Great Serpent of Polaris, less than 40 light-years from Earth, and is about four times the mass of Earth. It could be described as 'Earth's Opa' and scientists have now named it Rose 508b.
What's so special about this planet? First of all, Rose 508b revolves around Rose 508 (the star), which is 1% the size of the Sun, a red dwarf star with a low surface temperature of 2800 degrees Celsius. From these conditions, it is easy to see that Rose 508 is inferior to the Sun in all respects, but Rose 508b is very close to Rose 508. This means that the energy transmitted to the Rose 508b is sufficient to bring the surface temperature of the Rose 508b into the right range, even if the surface temperature of the Rose 508 is lower.
According to scientists' calculations, Rose 508b is 8 million kilometers away from Rose 508, also a planet in the habitable zone. the environment on Rose 508b is almost identical to that of Earth, especially since the temperature emitted by the receiving star is similar. To sum up, the surface temperature of Rose 508b is probably similar to that of Earth.
Rose 508b is so close to its mother that it only takes 11 days for her to make a runaround. In other words, for every 11 days on Earth, Rose 508b has a year. The surface area of Rose 508b is several times that of Earth, which means humans may never have to worry about a low population again. In addition, scientists speculate that there may be an ocean on Rose 508b. It is well known that oceans are where life first evolved. Based on Earth's experience, inferior organisms may have existed on Rose 508b.
What's more, Earth is less than 40 light years away from Rose 508b. In space, they could be called neighbors. I think with human capabilities, we may be able to develop a light-year-spanning vehicle shortly and then we can reach Rose 508b. Let's look forward to it together.
