Once in a bustling city filled with towering skyscrapers and busy streets, there lived two individuals named koral and Bryant. They were acquaintances who often crossed paths but never truly connected beyond a passing hello. Little did they know that their lives were about to be linked in a most unexpected way. One warm summer evening, a peculiar phenomenon occurred. As the clock struck midnight, a strange shimmering light spread across the world, bathing it in an ethereal glow. Koral and Bryant, like many others, were sound asleep in their respective homes. Unknown to them, their slumber would be different from any other they had experienced.

As the first rays of dawn began to peek through the curtains, koral woke from her sleep, feeling an unexplainable sense of solitude. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, realizing that something was off. The once vibrant city outside her window was now silent and devoid of life. Confusion turned to panic as she rushed out of her apartment, hoping to find someone, anyone who could explain this inexplicable situation. Koral's unsettled footsteps led her to a small park nearby, where she spotted a familiar figure standing under a towering oak tree. It was Bryant, his eyes filled with disbelief and awe. The realization struck them simultaneously: they were the only two people left on Earth. Fear and curiosity mingled within them as they cautiously approached one another.

"You!" He called out, his voice echoing through the empty streets. "What on Earth is happening? Where is everyone?"

"I have no idea," she replied, her voice trembling. "I woke up to find the city completely deserted. It's as if the world has vanished overnight."

As the shock settled in, both began to explore their new reality. They traversed the empty streets, searching for any sign of life or answers. But every corner they turned, every building they entered, only reinforced the eerie emptiness that surrounded them.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, yet the mystery remained unsolved. They grew closer during this period of isolation, finding solace in each other's company amidst the desolation. They shared their hopes, dreams, and fears, building a bond that transcended their previous encounter.

Together, they discovered the beauty of their abandoned world. They marveled at the architecture, the untouched nature, and the silence that allowed them to hear the whispers of the wind and the songs of birds. They watched sunsets paint the sky in hues of orange, pink and sometimes pure blue, and they danced in the moonlight, their laughter filling the void left by humanity's absence.

Amidst the solitude, koral and Bryant found joy in the simplicity of life. They scavenged for supplies, cooked meals together, and even created an unplanned library with books found in abandoned stores. They learned new skills, like playing musical instruments and painting, and shared their newfound talents with each other.

But as time passed, a longing for answers grew within them. They yearned to understand the inexplicable event that had befallen them and the fate of humanity. They embarked on a mission to find clues, examining old newspapers, finding messages, and scouring the internet for any clues of information.

One day, while rummaging through an old library, they stumbled upon a hidden basement filled with dusty archives. Among the piles of forgotten books and ancient documents, they discovered a diary belonging to a renowned scientist. The diary revealed that the shimmering light that had enveloped the world was an experiment gone wrong, an unintended consequence of an ambitious project. The scientist's final entry held a glimmer of hope, suggesting that a reversal mechanism might exist.

Armed with this newfound knowledge, Koral and Bryant worked tirelessly to fix it.
