CharityWater.Org Providing Clean Water For those in Need. One Well at a Time.
In honor of Earth Month, I wanted to write something special. It prompted me to create a new chapter of ConsciousTraveler.Co. These posts will highlight charities that tie into the narrative of sustainable tourism. CharityWater.Org was a perfect match.

The Bears in the Moss forests
Mosses were some of the earliest true plants to colonise the land surfaces of the earth as much as 470 million years ago. These tiny plants are almost like miniature forests and provide a habitat for a number of microscopic creatures, including some with remarkable ability to survive in very extreme environmental conditions. Moss can grow in a range of habitats from tropical rainforest to Arctic tundra.

What we’ve learned after 32 years of NASA’s Hubble
On April 24, 1990, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope into Earth’s orbit. This photo shows the Hubble Space telescope being deployed, on April 25, 1990, one day after its launch. It was taken by the IMAX Cargo Bay Camera (ICBC) mounted aboard the space shuttle Discovery. It has been operational for 32 years, and has not been serviced since 2009. With a 2.4-meter diameter mirror, it gathers as much light in 1 minute as a 160-mm (6.3″) telescope would require 3 hours and 45 minutes to gather. Electric Cars
Urbrand,M.(2022)2022 Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance. Car and Driver. If we do not cut global carbon emissions in half or more with the peak and stopping date at 2025 we will face extinction level events(Garza,2022). Catastrophic changes within the earth's system will be inevitable(EPA,2022). Gas powered vehicles produce 29% of these emissions, with industry leading a close second at 26%(EPA,2022). Hence I am presenting the argument that the transition to electric cars should be prioritized at all levels. It is imperative to not only pave the way for transition to electric cars, providing incentives, but also to incorporate the facts into action that the change is necessary as it affects our ultimate survival.

Away from the world
The universe is all of space and time[a] and their contents,[10] including planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of matter and energy. The Big Bang theory is the prevailing cosmological description of the development of the universe. According to this theory, space and time emerged together 13.787.020 billion years ago,[11] and the universe has been expanding ever since. While the spatial size of the entire universe is unknown,[3] the cosmic inflation equation indicates that it must have a minimum diameter of 23 trillion light years,[12] and it is possible to measure the size of the observable universe, which is approximately 93 billion light-years in diameter at the present day.
