Devoid of Matter
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. He is still wrapping his head around what's happening around him. There are so many others having a great time. Drinking, smoking, straight West Coastin' at this - where is he? Holy smokes, he's in motion? No, he's floating. Oh man. Wait. No he is actually moving in slow motion.

Taylor Swift, Big Oil and Soggy Paper Straws
Taylor Swift has topped yet another chart this week but it's not a billboard top 100 this time. A report from a sustainable marketing firm, Yard, recently calculated the emissions from the private jets of famous celebrities and if the findings are to be believed, Taylor Swift’s private jet was in use for 170 out of the first 200 days of the year and it emitted close to 8000 metric tonnes of CO2e, which is 1200 times what a normal person emits each year. As a result, local McDonald’s handed out hard-paper poutine box, wooden cutlery, and paper straws with my order. But the paper straw becomes mushy after some time, when you keep in dipped into your smoothie, which is totally annoying, if you ask me!

I was not alone in my much needed repose, for much of the world's population were sleeping and unaware of the dangers that awaited us when we finally awakened. We deserved our rest, we surmised, because we had worked so hard to take care of our physical, emotional, and intellectual needs against overwhelming odds.

We Need to be Talking About Palm Oil. Top Story - August 2022.
Shopping in 2022 feels like traversing a minefield. It feels like you’re making a political statement depending on the brands you purchase! With every corporate Twitter hashtagging their brand’s cause of choice (and some even lobbying for it), going to the grocery store requires making little choices that butterfly-effect themselves into government policy.

Snowflake
Snow, again outside the window drifting, light and free drifting. Look at the snowflakes dancing in the wind, waving white, dancing lightly with simplicity, suffused with endless fairy-tale-like sentiments. Look at the happy winter elves, white like the season's feathers, simple like naughty and innocent children, dancing with poetry, dancing with inspiration, infiltrated into a crystal moist, illusion into a wonderful legend, a fairy tale.
