Human Behaviour and Environment
With the growing population of the earth, the impact of human behaviour on the environment is also increasing.Human experience, actions, and behaviour have an impact on our surroundings and environment. We impact the environment in both positive and negative ways with our actions.
This article points out the positive and contradictory aspects of human behaviour in the environment.
The positive aspects of human behaviour on environment
By taking environmentally friendly measures, we can improve the condition of our environment. Many environmentalists, NGOs, and government organisations work for the betterment of the environment by taking measures to reduce environmental pollution.
Pre-environmental behaviour can help us with environmental pollution. This can also raise awareness among the general public. A proactive effort to stop deforestation and regular planting of trees and plants by public, private, government, and non-government organisations can have a positive impact on the environment.
Environmentalists, or those who are aware of and care about the environment, aim to avoid activities that contribute to pollution, such as decreasing the use of plastics, using trash cans rather than scattering trash around, and refraining from spitting and peeing in public places. They also attempt to educate the public on the subject by hosting seminars on the effects of environmental pollution and our responsibilities to nature.
Simple awareness can make a significant difference in the fight against environmental pollution. Aside from the efforts of governments, NGOs, and non-governmental organisations, public participation is essential. All of the small steps can have a significant impact on this issue. We must recognize that there is a correlation between humans and the environment. Nature is essential to our survival. We cannot imagine our life without the environment around us.To protect ourselves, we must take care of Mother Earth.
The negative aspects of Human Behaviour on Environment
Have you ever thought about how everyday our actions impact the surroundings we live in?Sometimes, whether on purpose or accidentally, we humans damage the environment. Humans have the ability to change the environment by either making pollution levels higher or lower. However, due to lack of awareness and proper knowledge, and sometimes because of their own selfish motives, they cause environmental pollution.
Air pollution is caused by both the use of automobiles for transportation and industrial smoke. Water contamination is a common result of individuals throwing trash into the ocean. Global warming is accelerated by air conditioner use and the use of Refrigerators. We continue to clear forests for our own selfish objectives, despite the fact that plants provide us with food and oxygen.
These seemingly insignificant acts may appear to be insignificant on their own, but when the actions of all people are added together, the impact is enormous. Just as small steps can contribute to a better environment, they can also devastate it.
To address this serious issue, we should: plant more trees, use alternatives to air conditioners and refrigerators, recycle, reduce our use of plastics, work to keep our rivers clean, and ride bikes instead of driving. We can help the environment by practising conscious behaviour and living a healthier lifestyle.
Both personal and social changes are required to reduce environmental pollution. For the greater good and to save the world, we must gain proper knowledge, educate people, change our ways of life, and avoid habits that contribute to pollution. As a result, we can all help to make the world a better place.
Nature needs nurture just the way it nurtures us! Don’t you Think?
If you agree on this issue, please contribute your thoughts too! I will be glad to hear from you!
