Yes, another Lassie story and I think there are still descendants of the original.
Leader of the pack
allegiances to family
sensitive,
soft-hearted,
interactive in many ways with others and
extremely likable.
I am not quite sure, but when I was younger, I believe maybe Lassie led me to be a dog person for as I have mentioned I have had a dog in my life and all the dogs that I had and have teach and show me what Lassie showed her boys and that is what unconditional love is all about and accepting it without questioning their love.

I love Lassie. In all her movies and the TV show too. Thanks for this piece, it keeps Lassie alive in our hearts!
I agree with Raymond. I appreciate the memories. I haven't thought of Lassie in decades. β‘πβ‘
Great story and reminded me of the times I watched Lassie, many, many years ago. Thanks for the memory
dogs still are one of best friends who love unconditionally
lovely writing Yes Lassie had huge impact on our life while being a child growing with pure open heart full of love for all around
I've always been a dog person, too. Just like you said, dogs show unconditional love. My pups have taught me that, just like Lassie taught her boys. It's a powerful lesson.
Nicely done, Mark. When my son was little, he loved watching the old Lassie in black & white.
