'The Pirates of Pepper Pot Point' is a children's picture storybook that seems to be written as one long very entertaining tongue twister. What a feat this author Michele Schultz and illustrator Paul Schultz has created. This is the story of a young boy named Peter Pickle and his cat Petunia and their adventure with the pirates and a battle of good and evil. Peter meets a pirate named Pedro and his parrot Percy and figures a way to help his friends and neighbors. Michele has written a story that shows the difference between right and wrong and how people can change. This is a story full of alliteration of the letter 'P'. Paul has drawn pictures that are fun to look at and 'read' and with the use of primary colors and the shading again makes this book a fun read.
