Troy Mosley has written a very illuminating book entitled 'The Armed Forces and American Social Change An Unwanted Truce'. He has written a very illuminating piece of learning and history. It is a book that covers military history and society as part of a certain community of people. Troy has written a well-detailed reference book that teaches the readers how our country accepts various people and cultures throughout the years. This would make a good supplemental read for courses in Human services, History, and maybe even a counseling course.

What makes this a great book for the courses mentioned is that is offers graphics that are well-detailed illustrations and explained the text. This is also a book that will give the reader a new way of looking at the veteran no matter what gender, race or creed they happen to be at any period of time during history. Troy has written this book that even non-history readers could become interested in learning more on how we can all learn from the past to make the present better and maybe into the future that will teach acceptance of others.
