I love this movie! I read there was a version where she and Duckie end up together, but they decided not to do it because it "would never really happen". The director made a different movie for that reason, and asked Molly to be the lead and she declined. I loved Duckie.. and would have chose him.

  • I love this movie!!! Great job with this

  • Excellent Tiff. Of course for me the #1 highlight is the music. The soundtrack for this movie is filled with all great new wave classics. Other than the music I love the styles/fashion... I lived this era and loved the trendy styles. Great movie!!!

  • Your reviews are always so pretty! I loved this!

Love your style here Tiffany and that you have even managed to fit in a brief analysis of themes! Love it! Fun film.. just watched last year. I had a bit of John Hughes retrospective when I had covid and then a cold right after… his films whether directed by or written by him are swell! ☺️

Great review. Haven't seen this in decades.

  • Such a classic movie. No matter what decade you watch it, it's fantabulous. Love the use of "wrong side of the tracks" to describe how she is considered one of the less desirables.
