Positive Thinking or Self-Deception?

A Critical Reflection on the Culture of Our Time

By Ali SabziPublished 15 days ago 1 min read

Part One:

Because it feels comforting, we feed ourselves with falsehoods to escape mental turmoil. In essence, we engage in self-suggestion, convincing ourselves of lies. (The neurological structure of some individuals is predisposed to suggestibility, readily accepting others’ words without critique. This is an aspect that can be strengthened by developing the frontal lobe, as previously discussed!)

Positive thinking — this banner hoisted by the shallow self-help books of fools and the tools of empty minds on Instagram, meant to deceive both thought and wallet.

Part Two:

These self-deceptions, these intoxicating illusions, lead humanity to ruin. People become immersed in their fantasies and drift further from reality. They become distracted by empty motivational slogans and mindless games, forgetting the essence of humanity and the communal ties that bind us.

Final Part:

And so, the shepherds — those who lead humanity like sheep with their sweet songs and hollow promises — guide them to an unknown destination.

This is how man becomes a servant, a slave.

Why does this two-legged creature submit to this?

The answer: Because the supreme shepherd has even more promises hidden in his hand…
