Back when I was in college, my English professor, William Howard Denson, once said to me:

"Writers throw away thousands of words."

His expression has never been more truthful. Any writer will tell you it takes countless drafts and rewrites before anything is completed. Just imagine the number of famous authors and the words they used which were erased to time.

I am willing to believe that the amount of words discarded by writers could overflow all the libraries in the world. This article alone represents a collection of works I was writing for Vocal.Media. For one reason or another, the articles alonnever saw the light of day. Either because I never completed them, an explanation came about, or I just lost interest altogether. Who knows? What is known is these article titles were the remnant of what could have been.

So here are a listing of articles that I never finished, completed, or just drafted. Most of them went nowhere as the ideas just weren't completely complied.

"LegalEagle Loses It"

For those whom are unaware, LegalEagle is a YouTube blogger and commentator whom creates videos about the legal process. Perhaps the one thing LegalEagle is noted for is his critiques on legal films and their accuracy. The article in question would have been about LegalEagle flipping out over the Trump allegedly clearing out Lafayette Park. I had plans to prove why LegalEagle was wrong about his statements. Yet, I left this on the shelf and I never finished it.

"What I Believe Happened to Cissnei After Crisis Core"

Cissnei (pronounced Sis Nay) was a main character in Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core. For fans of the series Cissnei was a popular addition and an incredibly helpful ally to Zack. However, after the events of Crisis Core, Cissnei's fate was relatively unknown.

This article was planned as a set of theories regarding became of her. When Cissnei made an appearance in Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth as the Captain of the Gongaga Youth Coalition, this article was moot. Therefore, I made the choice to discard my draft.

"YouTube's War Against ASMR"

This article would have been about YouTube's unfair policies against ASMRtists and ASMR in general. Considering the crackdowns YouTube has for ASMR content, which it deems as being "sexual", it is unjust to see YouTube single out these talented people for their ASMR videos.

What I want to know is why is anything with an attractive woman or whispering considered "sexual"? Are the fanboys (and fangirls) of these content creators slobbering all over their keyboards for women (or men) they'll never have? Or is it because people are too intimidated by attractive people? Let it be known that a handful of successful ASMRtists are men. Which blows apart the narrative that ASMR content is somehow sexual. Unless, there are fangirls (and fanboys) fawning over these male ASMRtists, it still does not mean ASMR is related to anything sexual.

"Popular Plays I Do NOT Like."

While there are popular plays everyone enjoys immensely, there are some I do not like. I dislike Romeo and Juliet because everyone knows the ending. Two lovers from powerful families unalive themselves. If you ask me, that is a complete waste because two rival families joining together would create something greater.

Another play I'm not too fond of was Death of a Salesman. The title alone gives away too much of Willy Loman's fate. It would have been a shocker if Willy Loman died unexpectedly with a false title or lived to accomplish his dreams. Either way, I believe Willy Loman deserved better.

In fact, I wrote in regard to the endings.:

Maybe its because some of the viewing audience wants a happy ending. Now one may argue with my by saying,

"But real life doesn't always have a happy ending, Halden. You're just being cruel to write this."

Well, number one, that's true about real life. It doesn't always have a happy ending and at times, things do end in tragedy. In fact, there are times when the "villain" gets away with their crimes, and the "hero" is often punished and never gets justice. Number two, these plays are just works of fiction meant to entertain us from the awful ordeals of reality. And thirdly, this entire article is strictly my opinion. If you don't like what I've written, that's fine with me. I'm not here to change minds, I'm here to express my opinion on how I feel!

Sure, I may absolutely hate the ending of Romeo and Juliet, but considering it's been in the public domain for centuries, and Shakespeare has been dead since god knows how long, I can take liberties with its ending now.

For example, if I wanted to rewrite the ending of Romeo and Juliet where they get married and united their families followed by some wacky alien invasion that causes them to time travel to the 21st century where they go to LAS VAGAS and win big at the slot machines to where they raise the Titanic or build a replica to where they travel around outer space all the while beating the ever living crap out of space bikers high on space drugs, all the while eating cheese crackers soaked in crab soup, then that's possible now because Romeo and Juliet is in the public domain and anything practically goes in the public domain! SO THERE!

BUT, I cannot say the same about Death of a Sales Man, Arthur Miller might come back from the grave and haunt me for rewriting his story unless its a parody but even then, I'd still have to jump through hoops and flames just to get permission to do it because that would be the right thing to do and everything imaginable.

Maybe I COULD Write a play myself or make a comic about a play which features anime girls flinging massive nasty piles of sludge at each other.

"ASMR MOVIE Idea!"

This was just a list of ideas for an ASMR film involving the big names of ASMR on YouTube. Yet, it was shelved because I lost interest in making ASMR related content.

"Strange Foods I Enjoy!"

This would have been a list of foods I like that are strange, odd, and unusual. Here is the listing:

Now, before anyone ponders or speculates, no, I'm not pregnant! In fact, I'm all man thank you very much! Nor are my taste buds broken. As for being a space alien, yes I'm out of this world!

But here are some foods I enjoy.

1. Pickle Spears Covered With Banana Pudding.

Combining the tangy sour taste of pickle spears with the sweetness of banana putting, this dish is bound to cause a ruckus with your tastebuds.

2. Cherries And Shredded Cheese Mixed With Mayonnaise.

A delightful blend of fruit and dairy, this snack is bound to entice the boldest to have a taste!

3. Relish And Kiwis Mixed With Dijon Mustard.

The sour taste of relish and Dijon mustard counter the sweetness of kiwi fruits.

4. Lucky Charms (TM) Mixed With Coca-Cola (TM)

A blend of soda and cereal, this will give anyone the sugar buzz they need or crave! With one bite, one will be bouncing off the walls.

5. Bananas Doused In Spaghetti Sauce.

The monkey house is sure to go Italian with this mix up!

6. Chocolate And Peanut Butter Chips In Burritos!

Offset the spicy flavors of peppers and onions with the sweetness of peanut butter and chocolate!

7. Doritos (TM) And Funyuns (TM) Mixed With Crab Salad In Ice Cream.

No matter the flavor of this frozen dairy food, Doritos (TM) and Funyuns (TM) makes them more delicious! With some crab salad, you'll feel like you're sailing away!

8. Sushi In Chocolate Syrup.

Why add shrimp sauce when chocolate syrup does incredible wonders to sushi? Believe me, it's SO GOOD! Yet, don't be too surprised if the Sushi chefs of old come back to haunt you!

9. Squid Burgers

Burgers with squid? Now that's a divine treat I've yet to try!

10. Carrots and Cola

Again, a snack that's yummy and deliciousness galore! Imagine how rabbits and sugar addicts alike will feel when they eat this delectable combination!

So there you have it, a collection of unfinished articles which I wrote, but never had the heart to finish. Suppose I had finished these articles and they were successful, but then again, who knows? Maybe in another universe or timeline, these articles would have been masterpieces. But as it seems, in this world, they were never meant to be read.

Regardless, I will continue writing not only for my readers, but also for my own sake as well.

Some works of art must remain unfinished...especially when they include bananas.
