My Critique Of The 100
A Netflix show
This is my response to HandsomelouiiThePoet's comment to my personal challenge in my Asking for help article. I chose to do a TV review.
The 100, a story about underage criminals who were raised in space 🛸, being deployed to earth instead of sentenced to death.
Or is that exactly what is happening still...?
This show has been very interesting. If you're a criminal as an adult on their ship, you get floated (Exactly what it sounds like). And the ship is running out of options, so their choice? Send the 100 youth criminals down to a planet that had been previously wiped out by a nuclear war, to see if it's survivable, while also trying to spare their childrens lives.
My favorite thing about this show, is they don't really portray the sides as good or bad. They all have to make tough choices to protect their people, usually at the cost of other's lives. It shows more real world decisions Vs. just the black and white Hero/Villain plot.
They find a way to keep the story interesting, and really switch gears in season 6.
All in all, I would say this is definitely worth binging.

I LOVE The 100! It's one of the first shows I watched on Netflix. I wish they had stopped it after season 6, though, as it didn't make sense any longer. The end was very anticlimactic. With that said, the cast is excellent. Great actors, with solid storylines.
