Going through many old photographs from my parents' younger days through my childhood of the 1960's and 1970's. There are black and white ones as well as those color ones with all the 'red' eyes. There were tears and smiles with more smiles than tears. As I found out my mom saved all those school pictures (individual and class). I began looking at these and wondered whatever happened to most of them especially from elementary school. I know some moved but believe it or not I found a few on social media and now are 'friends' once again. Happy memories.

Facebook is a great platform on which to find long lost friends from days of old (reuniting with old friends or acquaintances is the best part of Facebook in my humble opinion). People change so much over the years, in both appearance and behavior. It's very interesting to sometimes meet up with friends from our childhood or youthful days. This was a great piece, Mark. And embodied a bit of old lang syne.
Yes. When my mother died, I got a lot of her old photos. Then I have a lot of mine. Now, I order small books with photos and make my own digital files of photos. I am not a good photographer, so at least there is a limited number!😉😊💕
Ahaha those photos with the red eyes! Now I want to go home and look through my moms collection of all of us.
Well-wrought, Mark! Photos used to be more prized before the digital revolution, as we had to carefully curate them from physical stock.
I am glad you have pictures of your parents to recall moments and family events. I look through pictures of my daughter when she was little
