Liz, Rock & Jimmy in "Giant"
You have to chew through a lot of doughy footage in this movie before you get to the heart of it. And that heart is Jimmy Dean. Mumbling and awkward, Dean creates a character that goes deeper than the oil drill he labours over, making "Giant" digestible and ultimately delicious.

I've never watched this before but your review made me intrigued!
This is really great - totally love the succinct and accurate pastry comparison! I'm watching "The Last Movie Stars" about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward (would recommend) and of course Jimmy's career is a huge part of it. He was so damn good. As is this critique!
