Today I am re-reading Genesis and for some reason I am seeing and reading comparisons to what we are today. There were many deals that were made among family members, as there are deals made by today's families to make a better life for themselves as Jacob and Esau and Issac and Abimelek learned. There were and are solutions as well as blessings for many things to flourish or demise back then and even today. Who knows?
