One must always remember the safety rules when using fireworks of any kind even those known as Sparklers the ones that you can hold. My favorites were Snakes, poppers, and Sparklers for I remember trying to write my name with them in the air before they went out. Never made it though for they always died out way too soon. Fireworks are fun though, but once a year is enough for me.

I liked this story and I detest fireworks. I like professional shows which are beautiful and can be seen on TV or in person and are safe. I don't like the noise that disturbs pets, wildlife and veterans.

  • Nice! I Love fireworks and the expressions of awe coming from the grandkids.😊💕❤️

  • Omgggg, I used to write my name with those too! Gosh I miss those days. Loved your Acrostic!

I love the choice of words in this little acrostic, especially "a rather kaleidoscopic sparkling of color". Great work, Mark!
